Dosanjh has been speaking about Punjab pride throughout his sold out and record breaking North American tour, which has included some of the largest stadiums in America and Canada. Dosanjh has faced critiques from some Indian Nationalist circles for promoting Punjabi and Punjab in the international mainstream instead of India, to which he has replied in various interviews that he is proud of his roots and cannot forget the Punjabi people, culture ,and language that made him famous and successful to begin with.

The last rites of martyred farmer Shubhakaran Singh have been performed today in his village Balloh Shubhakaran Singh was martyred on 21st February due to police/security force firing at Khanauri border. His body was kept in Rajindra Hospital, Patiala for 8 days. Because the farmers demanded that Shubh's last rites would not be performed until an FIR under Section 302 was filed. Shubh's last rites have been performed today only after the FIR was filed yesterday evening.
