Introducing: Signature Series This will likely be the most important thing we ever do. We talk all the time about the importance of inscribing on Bitcoin and promote its timelessness and permanence, but then mostly create ephemeral collections of crappy PFP monkey pictures. Given the current political climate worldwide and the foundation Bitcoin was built upon, documenting history in some permanent way feels appropriate and maybe even necessary. -500 total pieces (5 series of 100 1/1s) -The most influential people of the past 100 years (100 each of 1920s/30s, 40s/50s, 60s/70s, 80/90s, 00s/10s) -Each piece features re-inscriptions containing a detailed biography, resources, and photographs of the person -Original detailed line art against backdrops featuring art styles popular in that era (and tons of little touches specific to each figure). The initial 100 pieces are coming soon. These are obviously limited, but if you are a friend of ours, holder of Pop Collective, or otherwise a good human being in this little Web3 world, reach out and we will get you on the list. The work on these is very time consuming, but we are looking at a mint date of mid-August. Please share this with others, and thank you for reading!

Man, I really wish I was capable of intellectual thought, so I'd know what to think of Jimmy Joe Bob over here.

I asked Jon Rahm to describe the difficulty of the second shot into the third green at Augusta National—the shot Rory McIlroy called his most "important" shot of the final round last year—and he went full Dennis Rodman talking about rebounding. Incredible nerd-out sesh. "Well, it all depends on the wind, the pin location, and how firm the greens are. If the greens aren't very firm, which that hasn't been the case the last three, four years when they redid that green, it's been firm every year, you can be quite aggressive. You can hit it up there and be confident that with any wedge shot you can stop it on the green. "Now you have pins like front right, front middle, front left, where there's a gap where if you're in between, you're not far enough to create some spin or you're not close enough to be comfortable bumping it on the green, where you're going to have to be very, very passive. So it becomes a very, very difficult shot. "Any back pin, my recommendation, hit it way up there and then use the contours of the green to get it close. But those short ones, you'll see a lot of different options. If you have the length, you can go right at it at the green and try to hit it on the upslope, so you have the option of bumping it or hitting a high soft shot. If not to the right pin, what I've done in the past is almost hit it to the scoreboard, as far left as possible, so even if you leave yourself 60 yards, you have a little bit of extra room and up the hill to stop it. "But each one plays it however they feel like. If you're a good enough wedge player and you have confidence in your wedge game, you can layup and leave yourself a 110 to 130 shot, which I don't think is the easiest with the ever-swirling winds of Augusta National, but I have done it to the short left pin a couple times in the past just because I didn't think I could get it close enough to the green to be comfortable. "It's a hole that everybody assumes we birdie, yet it still plays over par because of how intricate it is."

@PlusEV I agree with that. He's not saying Curry is better. Lebron didn't really "revolutionize" the game the way that Curry has.

I think if you don’t cuss and don’t mention anything family related, this is fine for fans in attendance at the Ryder Cup every two years. Family crosses the line, can’t cuss like a sailor when children are around and can’t do it during the swing. That’s it. Everything else should be fair game.

Jon Rahm details some of the abuse he received at the 2025 Ryder Cup at Bethpage: “Traitor, terrorist, fat, ozempic… for 10–12 hours straight.” That must have made it even sweeter when the Cup was effectively won by Saturday night 🇪🇺 @golf_subpar

What exactly is the downside of this promo? If you’re already betting an over on a player points prop and you add the promo to it, there’s no downside but you stand to win extra How would we be better off with it not existing?

@goated @sanjfomojis These never feel like they are going to last. I can't imagine anyone looking outside of Ordinals for actual art/collections that they'd expect to hold 10 years from now.

i feel like we shouldve just sticked to Ordinals for the art, runes for the coins and maybe Alkanes for defi stuff, having art collections on like 20 metaprotocols isn‘t really attractive nor does it help grow ordinals, quite the opposite in the short at the very least, and likely in the long run too

Alkanes vs BRC2.0 I don’t think it’s one or the other Clearly seeing a lot of degenerate BRC2.0 projects (personally I don’t mind it, gives people something to play around with) Majority won’t last but hopefully everyone by now knows that’s the case, just like 99% of ordinals, runes and NFTs, understand the game you’re playing and rotate back into long term projects Alkanes I’m seeing much more legitimate development, which takes time but personally think it’ll be much more sustainable Both have a place I’m much more a fan of Alkanes development and innovation but that’s just personal opinion Whatever happens there’s gonna be lots of fun to come on both
