As a Member of Congress, and as a Catholic, I am appalled by Trump’s recent attacks on Pope Leo XIV, a spiritual leader calling for peace amid the President’s disastrous war of choice in Iran.
At a moment that demands humility and moral clarity, His Holiness has reminded the world of the human cost of war and the perils of arrogance and greed. He speaks not as a politician, but as a shepherd of peace, faith, and human dignity.
For the warmonger in the White House to respond with insults and self-aggrandizement is a failure of character and a desecration of Christ’s message. Sadly, that is who Trump is.
We should be listening to voices of peace and love, not attacking them. The path forward is not paved with ego and hatred, but with justice, compassion, and a lasting peace for all.

California is trying to pass a bill that would criminalize investigative journalism with misdemeanors, $10,000 fines, imprisonment, and content takedown. The proposed bill is titled AB 2624 and was made after I exposed mass fraud by immigrant groups in America. Under AB 2624, government-funded entities like the Somali “Learing” Daycare centers would be protected from being exposed if they operated inside California. The enemy truly is within. When our politicians would rather protect fraudsters and illegal migrants, it’s time for us to stand up or face mass oppression from the traitors who “rule” over us.
