Another Wisconsin update! We are still working to figure out the label printer lag issue at early voting locations. Right now, our solution is to reboot multiple times during the day. This has kept things on track and stickers are being printed! 1/

It's really strange how many seemingly reasonable people don't know how tax brackets work.

most people don't know this, but because of the way tax brackets are structured getting a small raise can push you into paying way more in taxes. often, it's not even worth getting the raise anymore

Ppl born at home so wo official birth certif Ppl who move a lot & may have lost their papers. Ppl from chaotic or violent homes, who maybe can't get their papers. Voting is a RIGHT. @YakPatriotic @FrancescaHongWI The obvious answer to why to vote NO is that the MAGA folks are ginning up conspiracies abt non-citizens voting. Next step is making ppl PROVE citizenship to vote. Many people cannot easily show legal proof: birth certif, passport, etc. 1/2

WI Republicans put another constitutional amendment on the ballot. Despite how they dressed it up, it's all about making it harder for people to vote. VOTE NO!
If you’re in Madison, there are 3 local referendums which will help us as a city and better fund our schools. VOTE YES!

You go to the poll book with the envelope & give the voter's name, just like in-person. Only one ballot is allowed per person.

@FrancescaHongWI Query: what controls would prevent an erring election clerk from counting two ballots stuffed into one bar coded envelope, by mistake, of course? As we’ve seen already in this story, mistakes do happen and we are only human so this is a serious question demanding answers.

@AlexanderShur When I was trained to be an election official we heard of a guy walked out in front of a cop car, insisted the cop cite him for jaywalking, and then used that as proof of residence. It is an official document.
