I love that unlike Tenna and Ramb, Flowery not only doesn't let Kris boss him around, he straight up messes up their plan by telling Susie about the code. He doesn't fully get what Kris is doing but he can tell it's not right

possibility: Undertale Sans is not "from deltarune", and neither is Deltarune Sans "from undertale"
sans is "from toby fox", he can pick him up and put him down basically anywhere, and there's not necessarily a continuity between the sans instances

I genuinely never even thought about this. The fact that Sans's store is so clearly Grillby's is so weird actually. Doesn't that throw a huge wrench into the theory that Sans is from Deltarune? I feel like it absolutely reads more like it's the other way around.
