Dang! I have my first AI agent running. I built a small workflow for myself to identify spam emails using Google Studio. The best part about the tool is that you can define the rules. For example, this is one of the rules (image): Spam emails are my biggest personal problem. I was wasting at least 30 minutes a day marking emails as spam, even with different filters. And I’m addicted to seeing my inbox empty. So, to everyone who has been sending me unwanted emails: please spam my inbox now. 🙂

the impact ai summit in delhi was a perfect demonstration of why india keeps losing in tech and i’m tired of pretending it wasn’t a disaster. let me paint the actual picture: > cash-only payments at a “digital india” upi ?? > pm visit → main hall cleared for hours, everyone else just stood around doing nothing > exhibitors locked out of their own stalls > 3-hour queue just to enter > a founder’s product got stolen during the summit > no wifi at an ai event. > can’t take your keys if you came via car/bike > no laptop/camera at tech event > people were asked to sit on the ground > speaker lineup with consultants/bureaucrats who’ve never shipped a real product > the registration system crashed multiple times. people who registered weeks in advance couldn’t get in. vips walked past massive queues while founders and builders stood outside in the heat. 🤡 and 27 countries witnessed all of this live networking areas? no space to stand. many demos didn’t work because there was no stable internet. 5g?? this is what happens when optics matter more than execution. when innovation becomes photo-op the sad part is india has insane talent. founders building world class products. engineers and researchers doing real work. leave India for a sec, im at network school and the youngest crowd is all Indians. but we keep shooting ourselves in the foot with performative nonsense. the west isn’t winning because they’re smarter. they’re winning because they care about details. because they respect builders. because their tech summits actually work. same story when @sama came to india last time. boomer uncles asked the dumbest questions. and when he said it’s hard for india to build foundational models, we took it on our ego. rn, every founder who attended left embarrassed. imagine international delegate left with stories about our “infrastructure.” many friends and young builder lost a little more faith. this wasn’t just bad planning. it was a signal of what we value. and clearly, it’s security theater and photo-ops over builders. we can do better. we have the talent. we have the market. we have the potential. what we don’t have is execution and respect for the people building the future. maybe one day we will do better. till then if you’re a founder, ignore the noise. keep building.

WisprFlow is soooooo good 🤯🤯 I have started opening my laptop to write emails because it is 1000000000 times easier with WisprFlow. It is so good I am considering switching to another iPhone Wispr doesn't have an android app yet.. Is there a product that is as good, and available on Android. If not, why is no one exploiting this gap and running away with the Android Market? And why is Wispr so much better than every other voice-to-text product?

Thanks for the clarification, Sameer. Just to confirm: you and Rahul sold $430 Mn worth of shares to GA via a secondary txn to meet ESOP tax obligations. Even if the proceeds were used entirely to pay personal ESOP taxes, wouldn’t this still be considered personal liquidity?
Sameer Nigam@_sameernigam

Have got numerous inquiries today asking us whether Rahul & I sold $430Mn worth of our shares 'for personal liquidity'. The short answer is - Absolutely Not! In Sept 2025, all employees of @PhonePe , including both of us founders, were allowed by our Board and shareholders to exercise our vested ESOPs. Exercise of ESOPs triggers an immediate tax obligation on employees in India. To meet our respective tax obligations, the Board also permitted us to sell a fixed number of our shares (== the exact amount of each employees/founders' tax obligation!) to GA via a secondary transaction. The entire secondary capital was deposited to the company, which in turn deposited ~6000Cr total TDS to the tax authorities. NONE of us employees or founders got any personal liquidity as a result of this transaction.

Really enjoyed reading this interview w Mr H M Bangur. It is about Shree Cement's reluctance to do M&A unlike their competitors, but it is also a masterclass in strategy. Also fascinated that he used to take CAT exam to test himself for a while (though stopped it now). livemint.com/companies/shre…

@priteshlakhani Nothing wrong in wanting to know about the Company's financials. Yours ofcourse is not relevant and all depends on the way someone asks.

How do you tell someone respectfully FO ? Interviewed a guy yesterday. Cleared the basic test. Understood the role. All good. We asked: What are your salary expectations? Candidate: How much do you and the company make?
Pritesh Lakhani@priteshlakhani

Finding an accountant for data entry is difficult than fund raise. Have interviewed so many candidates this week and not even one of them can create a company in tally, create a ledger, item, invoice, payment receipt and reconcile the transaction. Irony is they want 40k for this and they can't do the basic stuff.

Meet a director who handles ~₹15Cr of annual procurement. I was meeting him to pitch @pneucons’ Purchase Engineer model for enterprise procurement. I reached 15 minutes early and saw him arrive with a driver in company uniform. I asked why. He said most people prefer whites or casuals. I see him as another assistant. He doesn’t just drive. He notes key events, handles tasks, keeps things moving. I get more productive and employment gets created. That driver also manages another person under him. While leaving, he gave me simple advice. Once you move ahead in life, get a driver. Keep one day for yourself to enjoy driving. Road rage isn’t going anywhere and it’s not worth it. The moment someone else drives you around, your productivity changes completely.

Blinkit Agent Earns Rs 762 After Delivering 28 Orders In A Day. Assuming each order is around 4 kms (2 to pickup and 2 to drop). That makes it 112 kms each day. If mileage of vehicle is around 40 per litre, it comes to 3 litres of fuel costing around ₹300. One Decent Meal cost around ₹50 to ₹100. So around ₹150 to ₹300 for the day. So our Blinkit delivery person earns around ₹150 to ₹200 per day after riding for over 100 kms on Crazy Roads with High Traffic & Stress. If this continues to Happen, he will spend all his money on health in later years. I think this Delivery Team is doing a fabulous job. They deserve to earn much more. We Indians do not want to pay for delivery. What can be done to make their lives better? #FI

Move over JetBlue Valentines Day. There’s a new operations MBA case study in town.
Shereen Bhan@ShereenBhan

The #Indigoairlines crisis is largely on account of the airline failing to plan for the implementation of the 2nd phase of the Court Mandated new Flight Duty Limit norms from Nov 1. More cancellations expected over next 2-3 days. DGCA says @IndiGo6E has asked for “operational variations/exemptions from specific FDTL provisions for A320 operations up to 10th February 2026” Indigo has told the regulator that “normalised and stable” operations will be fully restored by 10 February 2026. DGCA says IndiGo has acknowledged that the actual crew requirement for the new norms exceeded their anticipation. Pilots associations have accused airlines of “arm twisting” tactics to get exemptions from the new rest rules. Passengers hit hard in the peak season @shivanibazaz @madeehamedia @CNBCTV18News @CNBCTV18Live #Aviation #IndigoDelay

Monday Potential customer: Do you have L&T products on @pneucons? Team: Yes, we do. Customer: I'm facing an issue with my XYZ product. Team: You didn’t purchase this from our platform. Customer: So what? You're selling the brand, you should provide after-sales support. (Gets angry, hurls ma-bhen ki gali's and disconnects)

A curious thing is happening. The nights I retire with a concern or doubt on a direction, instead of rolling in the bed ruminating over it .. I tell my self, I don't know what to do and the Universe will show the way, then go to sleep. About half the time, I'm wide awake early in the morning with a solution just pouring out of my head for it to be written down and communicated. Interesting.

I was also very pleasantly surprised to hear about Newtown. Perhaps because I have not been back to Kolkata for years. Spoke to a friend from Kolkata who confirmed the quality of its planning and spaces… A city that deserves a renaissance, and deserves more attention from travellers #SundayWanderer
🚨Indian Gems@IndianGems_

This is Kolkata's Newtown spans across 20,000 acres maintained by Government bodies, yes by Government 😭 Roads were pothole/dust free, with proper markings. Proper plantation with wide footpaths.

Founders who pack events & fireside chats are simply loosing time that could have been used building or recharging. There is rarely anything needle moving that you can learn from these events — far more insights are online, on YouTube and in podcasts. You also rarely find meaningful connections at these events. Skip the events — far better ways to find new insights and new connections.
