@SlutyStols @JanowskiKsawery When I watched it, I got the vibe that the showrunners were trying to paint him as asexual, but his previous treatment didn't align with that. I can come up with all sorts of interpretations to make it comprehensible, but that feels ... fannish.

Ya know I don’t hate this but it does feel a little odd coming from a guy who started as a 30 year old rather than like an early middle schooler A lot of things like this quickly go from charming to “grown ass man” for me depending on that factor

it's interesting to me when graecoroman writers are able to acknowledge that their system is cruel. some roman writers say slavery is inhumane. some writers seem to recognize patriarchy as harmful to women & even sympathize with women. yet they 100% uphold the system.

they aren't literally greek mythology tho, they are an americana interpretation of Greek mythology that's why, as bad as the run is, Tom King Wonder Woman is on this regard pretty much on par with the rest of Wonder Woman

Pre Crisis Batman was such a relatively normal well adjusted guy. Not recognizing an old acquittance and then going “Oh, you! Of course, uh, I’ll be seeing you” is something I can’t imagine Batman ever doing in the modern day. It’s kind of unfortunate.
