Rock climbing trains me to put myself in uncomfortable, tough & unstable situations. I bring this mindset to work, trusting my skills & partners to climb together tough challenges. The view when you reach the top after 40mts of vertical struggle is often worth the effort 🧵

When you have a name that’s uncommon in a country, getting a job is a LOT more difficult. Here’s a concrete example:

Today I climbed a tough 6b route. It’s 1 level above my comfort zone. Glad of both achievements: the network built over the past 5 years with @ICRC people & my physical & mental shape to put myself through this 6b today. Made it. Getting ready for my next challenge. Un abrazo 🔥

Working across hierarchies, regions, and business units in more transparent ways in an organization that values confidentiality wasn’t easy but we’ve built a solid network that enables more agile feedback & two way communication that helps transform our ways of working.
