François-Philippe Champagne (FPC) 🇨🇦
It goes without saying that the next leader of the Liberal Party of Canada must be able to communicate in both English and French, Canada's two official languages. It will also be just as important to have a debate in French. On March 9, make your voice heard!

It is crucial for the Liberal Party to have a bilingual leader. For me, bilingualism means appreciating the French language in Canada, appreciating Quebec as a whole, and all the communities in the country, whether they are francophone or anglophone.

Canada is here to lend a helping hand. Canadian water bombers are already in action on the front lines in California. I have also asked @ParksCanada firefighting resources to be on stand by, should additional resources be required.

It’s not a moment too late for @cbcradio @CBC @HistoricaCanada @RCGS_SGRC and all our cultural institutions to start doubling down on what makes us Canadian; our history, values, stories, geography. Reach every one. Go, now.

I’m old enough to remember when Randy Hillier was expelled from the PC caucus for saying “yada yada yada” to a parent of a child with autism. Yet one-time Cabinet Minister Lisa MacLeod continues to have the premier’s confidence. #onpoli

In the Trudeau years, 🇨🇦’s economy grew by 41%, to $3.2 trillion. It grew by just 18% under, Stephen Harper. Say what you want about Trudeau — there's still no arguing Canadians became wealthier while he was in power thestar.com/business/say-w… via @torontostar

Absolutely batshit that Pierre Poilievre, who will probably be our next PM, is sitting down with present-day far-right grifter Jordan Peterson. The alarm bells couldn’t blare any louder, folks!!!!!!

This was my favourite story of 2024 — one I pursued for 2 years. I traveled 1,468 kms to write it and see the power of a community getting power, literally & figuratively. It's rare good news at a time when everything seems bad. Solutions can take a long time but they're worth it

Across northern Ontario, 24 First Nations that previously relied on diesel generators for power are now connected to the provincial electrical grid. In the communities, the culmination of this decades-long project is cause for celebration: thenarwhal.ca/ontario-indige…

Dear provincial premiers, Under our system of government, only the federal Cabinet is empowered to conduct foreign affairs. Our country does not have 11 foreign ministers. You are not helping. Sincerely, A concerned citizen

A First Nations Member of Parliament asked for unanimous consent in the House of Commons on a motion to protect clean water in Indigenous communities. Conservatives heckled him so loud we couldn’t hear a thing. Pierre & crew keep showing Canadians who they are.. Believe them.

Doug Ford is wasting $2.2 billion of your money to build a private spa nobody wants while destroying the Science Centre that everyone valued. The Minister of Infrastructure should resign and the Ford government needs to be replaced.

The facts are hard to deny:   Last year, 0.6% of illegal crossings and 0.2% of fentanyl seizures by U.S. authorities were at the northern border. 🇨🇦 and 🇺🇸 are strategic partners in continental and economic security. We’ll continue to work together to ensure a secure border.

NEW: Months worth of government records are now considered “missing” after Premier Doug Ford’s Chief of Staff traded in a personal cell phone which was then “reset.” The private phone was being used for government business. globalnews.ca/news/10894747/… #onpoli
