@CharlesDagnall agreed totally, and its not just in the press its on the pitch too, post game Adelaide have you seen any photos or video of the team coming over to the fans to interact at all ?

I don’t think I can remember an England team (both players & coaches) so devoid of understanding about how fans feel. Most quotes in the press (essentially their chance to talk to supporters) completely miss the mark and seem to antagonise more. It’s quite the thing.
