I wish I knew the answer to this question. Lots of theories floating around that sort of explain things but not totally. I will say this: we saw similar baffling decisions during his first term when he handed the country over to Anthony Fauci and green-lit Operation Warp Speed, two MASSIVE horrible decisions that are WORSE (so far) to invading Iran. So looking back, he was always capable of self destructing. It’s such a bummer that it’s happening barely a year into his second term 😣
