There’s a difference between hard rule triggers which rely on events which have already occurred, and stuff like “I’d buy PLTR today because their earnings report said…” One is based on known quantities. One is surmising what may occur Most importantly, systems DO NOT CARE about outcomes. That’s the key. If you care about the P/L outcome you’re future predicting. If you care about “did I follow my rules”, you’re playing based on known information

Or maybe they dont want to be responsible for other people's decisions and arent interested in being a "signal" giver. Some people rather show someone how they fish and let them try it on their own. When I enter a trade im watching structure, I can tell someone where im looking for a setup and what but no way I can tell them in the moment nows the time while also entering myself. I dont enter unless low tf structure supports my thesis at higher tf poi, and I act in the moment based on what I see and whay happens. Read live tape long enough you can tell when they might be shifting based on how quickly price moves which cant be taught shown or explained

Look man, I’ve said it before. I’ve got nothing against you personally. If you’re making a buck, god bless. But frankly, even if everything you’re saying is 100% truthful (goes without saying I’m wary of that)… I think there are a lot of traders out there better served by learning how to build a rules based trading system way more than hearing any sort of stock or market analysis

I think there are, best estimate, maybe a few thousand profitable swing/day traders in the world. They are the same thing btw, despite your strange insistence that the investment tome horizon is so critical to success… is scalping impossible? Long term buy and hold? People who hold for months not years? I have learned from the best. And they all say the same two things: 1. the market is random and unbeatable And 2. The ONLY chance you have at beating it, and even then it’s unlikely, is creating a rules based system and NEVER deviating from it Any other advice — tips, picks and predictions most especially — is worse than not helpful. It actually hurts traders
