@ponderlest @GermanStrands Would be crazy to see a single player game get updated with a story rewrite. For such a long game I would have to play it over again.

@motionzoi @GermanStrands I for one agree with you. The story is good. The problem I think most people are having is the game fails to provide context through dialog of events, factions, and characters. You have to read a lot of it in the Knowledge section.

@GermanStrands Story is fine you people are weird. You talk about you love GTA 345 and now it’s the same story a person comes here or there with a crew. They do some crime stuff and then they make a life. You all love that I don’t get it.

@RevanJJ @CrimsonDesert_ I think a change of perspective helps here. Crimson Desert was completed on release, but there are improvements that could and are being made based on feedback. Feedback didn't really matter for games of the past. Agreed that some devs take advantage but not Pearl Abyss.

@CrimsonDesert_ I miss when games HAD to be COMPLETED before release day. This will take a long time to fix and balance. It can be done, Cyberpunk 2077 and NMS made great comebacks and I hope that for you: but this needs to stop. Charge 1/2 price at launch & the other 1/2 after fully patched.

@OKenoubi @CrimsonDesert_ They need to add in difficulty options before going to much further. I'm all for making the game more accessible, but let me enjoy it as the challenging game it was designed to be.

@CrimsonDesert_ @CrimsonDesert_ Reducing difficulty isn’t always good. Bosses get easier where preparation was needed. Nights feel like daylight, etc. There are many good things (storage 🥹) and very strong support, but the game is slowly losing its identity 😞 Dont forget the photomode please.

@NinjaZX4RR @CrimsonDesert_ Nah man, I love walking. Because of their controls I actually will walk around town. In every other game I sprint around because it's too easy. I can still do that in this game, it just requires intention.

@CrimsonDesert_ Default the jogging speed. Thats my only major complaint. I hope theres way more fast travel points too. Loving it, tho!

@AlexWisnerArt @CrimsonDesert_ Makes far more sense than any Souls games including Elden Ring. Maybe I haven't gotten far enough, but I don't see it not making sense. Could it be better, sure. Does it need to be better, no.

@CrimsonDesert_ Please include an option when bumping into locked doors if you want to use your key or not. I have accidentally opened more than a few doors of places I never intended entering.

@CrimsonDesert_ - Added more Abyss Nexuses across the continent of Pywel to improve fast travel via teleportation. - Reduced the number of hits required to log trees. Noooooooooooo! Less travel points = better and the required hits to log was perfect! 😥

@scrawl_it @CrimsonDesert_ Controls aren't too bad after some practice. Recommend intentional repetition of newly acquired skills. Additionally use the skills menu to find how to do things, as well as guide for non skill controls. I want my minimap to be hidden. Wish they would add a compass instead.

@gpie944 @CrimsonDesert_ It's 2026, so try to use your brain. I got stuck at a puzzle for 30 minutes, refused to look up help and realized the puzzle was simpler than I thought. Next complex looking puzzle i solved in 2 minutes and I felt like a genius.

@TromainLester @CrimsonDesert_ @CosmicGirlWorld That's update added PSSR2 which Crimson Desert benefits from. If you have a 4K TV, and a PS5 Pro, turn on PSSR2. Then play the game on performance or balanced. It upscales the game from 1080p to 4K. Game looks incredible and plays at 120 fps with this latest patch.

@CrimsonDesert_ @CosmicGirlWorld Honestly I think Sony tried to sabotage the release of the game since Pearl Abyss didn’t sell to them, because I got a huge PS5 update right before the game installed. 😏

@chokethawoke @Drulagoon @CrimsonDesert_ Then it would likely drop at midnight on the 20th. Also you either do rolling midnight, which means people might get it almost a day before you, or they drop it all at the same time for everyone.

@DetectiveSeeds Well ok, so they told us that level scaling and leveling is removed but what about stats? crafting? etc? gearing has been part of an RPG system. I sometimes think if you don't have a leveling system, your classified as an Action/adventure game.

I thought for sure Crimson Desert was an RPG. Even Playstation is calling it an RPG in their latest blog. Are the lines being blurred of “what is an RPG?”

@Bloodwolfe08 @DetectiveSeeds The game has leveling, as they have indicated the world is a static level and some areas will be harder until you are more powerful. I believe the leveling comes from gear and learned skills rather than an XP based system.
