Three years ago today, February 4, 2022, we were attending the first meeting between @MyfirstBitcoin_, @PoweredbyIBEX and the Salvadoran government represented by @suecallejas and @rodrigoayalasv at 'La pachecho' institute in San salvador. The bitcoin law had only been passed a few weeks ago and there were only a handful of pioneering bitcoiners in the country. This meeting marked the beginning of bitcoin education in the country's schools. Today that the law has been changed, and bitcoin is no longer legal tender in El Salvador, education remains the only driver for adoption. Perhaps as it always should have been. Bitcoin imposes itself from below. Good work to @MyfirstBitcoin_ and all educators in El Salvador. 💪🇸🇻
