England is perhaps the most Nationalist nation in history. We’ve been a unified state for over 1000 years (one which has always been especially prejudiced against foreigners). We aren’t some Eastern European nation seeking independence from Austria-Hungary in the 18th-20th century on a wave of nationalism. Nationalism was never new to England. Alfred the Great repelling the Vikings was Nationalism, Harold attempting to do the same with the Normans was Nationalism. When Philip of Spain became King of England by marrying Mary we slapped him with a million terms and conditions about what he could and couldn’t do because he was a foreigner. Nationalism. Repelling the Spanish Armada was Nationalism. Stop this pseudo-intellectual coal. England and then Britain are inherently Nationalist and always have been. Get on board or step aside.
