I’m going to keep putting you lying garbage parrots in your place over and over again There is NO such thing as “Sex Slavery” in Islam There is NO punishment for refusing to convert - Islam is not accepted unless it’s sincere and done freely Free civilians CANNOT be enslaved

If this won’t make you rethink your view of Islam I don’t know what will. What an incredibly brave woman standing up to the barbarians who tried to finish her off.

@MeghanEMurphy Yeah I hate when people dehumanize men by saying women are responsible for our sexual desires. And this whole discourse completely ignores the fact that women also consume internet porn and channel their strong sexual desires that way

@ChainSmoker99 @AngloVarangian No. Muslims idiotically claim that people who leave their religion were never members to begin with as a pathetic way to cope, and this quote sounds exactly the same.

A husband wanting sexual access to his wife is not some vulgar surprise add-on. It is one of the most natural and foundational expectations of marriage.

@wil_da_beast630 @TheXMatriarch What’s insane is how this is treated as a one way street, as if women also don’t have sexual expectations in marriage. The vast majority of women also want/need sex in their marriages and would say “hell no” to a marriage absent of it.

Literally no man below about age 65 would...ever get married, ABSENT the expectation that his wife will generally want/be down to sleep with him. Women may or may not see this as a bit shallow, and both sexes should strive to make the other happy - but it's genuinely bizarre to see fully adult, religious, taxpayer-class citizens treating this point as debatable.

This is fetish posting btw, not being funny. This man gets off on the fact that his wife was a whore before him and further gets off on the humiliation of telling people about it. Legitimately a freakish person I would not trust.
Trevor Sheatz@TrevorSheatz

My wife was formerly promiscuous. I was a virgin. She was then radically born-again. Committed to church, evangelized constantly, Puritan books in her bedroom, prayer journals, grief over past sexual sin, etc. We got to know each other well for over a year, dated for four months, engaged for two and a half, and didn't sin sexually with one another. Our first kiss with each other was at the altar on our wedding day (reaction pic attached!). We've been married for over five years now, and she's been the most wonderful and godly wife, mother to our three children, and homemaker you could imagine. She's more pure than most virgins, as biblical purity has less to with past sins (though they certainly matter) and more to do with one's current posture of the heart and daily decisions to honor the Lord (Matt. 5:8). We're far too quick to forget the story of the woman labeled as a known "sinner" (likely a prostitute) in Luke 7:36-50 who was washing Jesus' feet with her tears while kissing them too. The Pharisees were shocked that Jesus let a public sinner do this. Jesus responded with a parable about debts being forgiven and ended with this powerful conclusion: "Her many sins have been forgiven; that’s why she loved much. But the one who is forgiven little, loves little" (Luke 7:47). Everyone seems to highlight the benefits of virginity, and it certainly is a blessing. But we forget to highlight the benefits of being forgiven much as well. My wife knows the depths of Jesus' forgiveness more than most people, enabling her to more easily live out a life of passionate love for her Savior. A woman or man's past sexual sin matters. But what matters far more when it comes to deciding who to marry is if the person is truly born again, if their repentance is real, if they truly have a heart for Christ, if they truly follow Jesus and obey his commands. "God has chosen what is foolish in the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen what is weak in the world to shame the strong. God has chosen what is insignificant and despised in the world — what is viewed as nothing — to bring to nothing what is viewed as something, so that no one may boast in his presence. It is from him that you are in Christ Jesus, who became wisdom from God for us — our righteousness, sanctification, and redemption, — in order that, as it is written: 'Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.'" (1 Cor. 1:27-31) "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, and see, the new has come!" (2 Cor. 5:17)

This is another major problem. Older Christian generations are so out of touch with how much young women, including a lot Christian ones, have been psychologically programmed to hate men. They're listening to music artists like Sabrina Carpenter saying "all men are pigs," "all men are useless," "call men stupid in as many ways as possible." Instead of speaking out against this narrative older Christian generations often double down on this rhetoric saying young men just aren't doing enough to win over young women who subconciously hate men in general and not holding them accountable for hardly anything.
Paisios@AngloVarangian

I think the biggest problem regarding finding a spouse for Christian men, especially Orthodox Christian men, is not that it is hard to find a woman to date, its not really. It's hard to find a woman who can help you with your salvation. Because most Christian women today don't want to spiritually struggle, they're very lukewarm about their faith. The wanna follow the approach of giving Christ occasionally some time on Sunday mornings and a couple minutes at most of their day and then living a fully secular lifestyle 99% of the time. Women like this will not help you in your salvation or help you raise children to truly seek Theosis.

Notice the sleight of hand by this account, which was exposed as a rebranded Marxist scam last week. They aren’t actually listing AIPAC donations. Instead, it’s stupidly broad descriptors like “pro-Israel lobby” and “their donors.” They don’t show their work for a reason.

11 years earlier, during the 2006 Lebanon war, she served as an IOF combat trainer, preparing soldiers for operations on Lebanese soil. By the end of the conflict, 400 Lebanese children had been killed. But, yeah whatever! Look at her being nice to a fan at a meet and greet🤩

The species norm for about 3 million years has been long term pair bonding ('social monogamy'), with a bit of youthful experimentation, a bit of infidelity, and a bit of polygyny among high status males. Even within these societies that allow polygamy', the vast majority of kids are born to pair-bonded couples. It's simply untrue that polygamy is the human default, and that monogamy is a recent cultural invention.

Our species norm is polygyny: 80% of cultures historically let high-status men hoard wives while low-status men get nothing. Christianity (inherited from Rome) forced monogamy for 2000 years. Now we've mostly ditched it—and we're sliding back toward the old pattern. Louise Perry: Lifting the monogamous restriction produces worse outcomes—higher crime, domestic violence, economic inequality. Monogamy is better for women and low-status men. Monogamy isn't "natural"—it's an engineered cultural upgrade that tamed inequality and violence. Do you think monogamy is worth defending even if it's not the "default" human pattern? Or are we better off returning to the species norm? Your take 👇

This is actually mostly wrong. Our species norm is not polygyny. We are not gorillas. Yes, 80% of cultures are polygamous, but polygamy only spread after agriculture. The hunter-gatherer bands we spent hundreds of thousands of years in before that were monogamous. Also, Christianity did not inherit monogamy from Rome. It is true that Roman wives were expected to be monogamous, but Roman husbands could, and were even expected to, have sex with courtesans, concubines, prostitutes, and slaves. Christian monogamy was a sharp break, a true sexual revolution, away from the norm of powerful men monopolizing women. Now Louise Perry is correct that “lifting the monogamous restriction produces worse outcomes.” Monogamy is far better for society than polygamy. But that is because monogamy is our natural state, it was just corrupted for centuries after the dawn of agriculture. We are a species designed to form pair bonds and raise families together. Now there are tons of things in the modern world that are making it harder and harder to do that, but that is our natural state and we should fight to return to it.
