WSJ: "Trump claims he called off an attack on Iran because Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the UAE asked him to. Meanwhile, those same Arab countries deny having any knowledge of an imminent attack"
Trump is inventing diplomatic cover. Literally fabricating foreign "requests" to justify his decision

🚨 BREAKING:
🇺🇸🇮🇷 Trump has called off a planned attack on Iran that was scheduled for today after Qatar, Saudi, and the UAE asked him to hold off.
- The 3 Gulf leaders told Trump negotiations are on the brink of a breakthrough "very acceptable to the United States"
- Trump says the U.S. military remains ready to launch a "full, large scale assault of Iran, on a moment's notice" if talks fail
- Any deal must include no new weapons for Iran
Key details from negotiations:
- The U.S. proposed banning enrichment for 25 years. - Iran said no. Then 20 years. Iran said no again
- The U.S. has offered to lift oil sanctions if Iran ends support for proxy forces in the region
- Iran wants a war-ending agreement announced before any nuclear deal. The U.S. wants everything announced at once
- A CIA assessment found Iran can withstand the blockade for 3 to 4 more months before severe economic hardship
The UAE, one of the most hawkish Arab states toward Iran, pushed hardest for the pause. After 2,800+ missiles and drones hitting its territory, Abu Dhabi does not want round 2.

NEW: The clock is still ticking on Iran.
President Trump is giving Tehran more time after requests came in from regime officials to delay military action and continue negotiations, but he’s still threatening a massive strike if a deal falls apart.
The U.S. is now in what officials are calling a “temporary pause” to see whether diplomacy can still work.
Iran says “dialogue does not equal surrender” and is mocking President Trump for repeatedly setting deadlines and then extending them.
