For anyone looking to get into agentic coding, ChatGPT Plus is currently the best value subscription overall.
Why ChatGPT Plus?
- Strong models: GPT-5.3 Codex handles small and regular tasks well, while GPT-5.5 covers more complex ones.
- Better rate limits for agentic coding than competitors.
- You also get higher limits for chat, image generation, and more.
- The Codex app is excellent.
Why not Claude?
- The models are good, but the rate limits are frustrating. On the $20 plan, you can hit the limit in just 15 to 20 minutes, which makes it hard to justify.
- The models tend to use more tokens than GPT models for similar tasks.
- Claude Desktop has been buggy in my experience.
Why not Cursor?
- Cursor is great, but its default composer model is not as strong as Sonnet 4.6 or GPT-5.3 Codex.
- It can access Sonnet and GPT models, but since Cursor pays API pricing, it does not subsidize those models heavily. They also come with monthly caps, so once you hit the limit, you have to wait until next month.
- They have a great app for coding but they have no regular chat or image generations.
Why not Gemini?
- Gemini is solid for general tasks but not as strong for coding. Antigravity is also not as good as Codex or Cursor.
- Google recently increased limits, but the code output quality is not great. You can access Claude models through it, but they are more rate limited than the native Gemini models.

I just refactored a file with over 5000 lines of code using Codex (5.3-codex-high). It was a view model file that had grown very large. I knew about it, but kept postponing the work because I expected the refactor to cause many issues and I did not have time to handle them.
Yesterday I had some time and decided to try it. It reduced the file to about 600 lines and organized the code into separate, smaller files. The whole process took about 1.5 hours.
It managed to do all this without breaking anything. Impressive!

I was shocked. Why would a North Indian say this?
Then he told me that Biharis are subject to anti-Bihari xenophobia in NCR, Mumbai and Pune too, and also by other North Indians settled in Kerala.
But among Mallus, they are not singled out as Biharis but as generic North Indians. It amuses him to see other North Indians, who make fun of Biharis, get a taste of their own medicine.
