October 29th Update What's new, in 10 seconds. * iMessage & SMS actions: have Praxos read incoming messages and do tasks for you. * Message search: Search across all your text conversations and contacts. * Quality of life upgrades: video and image editing, location-based actions, file retrieval, and more. ------------------------------------------------------------ iMessage & SMS actions Praxos can auto-forward inbound iMessages and SMS messages. This means that you can have your conversations stored, and later used to set up triggers or automatic actions based on the contents of incoming messages. You have granular over this feature, from picking specific senders to only taking action based on wording. It can also be much more general. For example: * If I receive a message from my dad asking me to buy milk on my way home, add it to my shopping list. * If Lucas asks me to edit a document he is drafting before Nov. 1st, add a deadline to my Google Calendar, attach the file to the event, and remind me about it next Saturday morning. * If Praxos texts my grandmother to take her medication, and she does not respond, ping me before end of day. * If I receive promotional messages, automatically reply stop. * If my mom asks me to send receipts of my last purchase, automatically fetch the receipt from my email and send it to her. Forwarding messages means that you can now also search across your entire conversation history! If you would like to start adding these automations, connect with us on Discord ( discord.gg/wVmrXD2dJA ) and we will help you one-on-one. They require special setup; we are working on simplifying the process. ------------------------------------------------------------ Quality of life upgrades * Location based functionalities: Praxos can now find stuff near you, using the location to find products, paths, restaurants, etc. * Extended webhooks: We now support webhook triggers for Outlook as well. Calendar/Drive will soon be added. * Editing Images and Videos is now possible. * Voice note support: send Praxos a voice note with what you want done, and it'll get done. It works the same as text! * Messaging systems are more robust. Praxos will ask you to clarify your message if something is missing or ambiguous. * File retrieval upgrade: Praxos can now find old files that you have uploaded directly, and even fetch them for you on command/send them to you as needed.

Can you even make it out of YC sane and alive without me?

I wish I'd known and set all of these up before doing @ycombinator last summer. @AnthropicAI: Claude Code inside Cursor / VSCode is the way. Though lately I've been more of a Gemini fan. @posthog: Super simple analytics to set up. Your product can't get better if you're not watching customers use it. Pretty cringe to realize how bad your UI/UX is. But it's a great way of reaching out for feedback. That leads me to… @circlebackai: My note taker of choice. Records, transcribes, and sends action items to our team automatically. Call scripts are gold for collecting (and not missing) user feedback. Pilot.com: Reliable bookkeeping and taxes in one place. They saved us at the beginning of this year when our accounting software went kaput. You certainly don't want to learn your accountant is going out of business on the last Friday of the year. @brexHQ: Your finance stack. Same as above. You want a reliable, stable partner for this stuff. Nothing worse than waking up and realizing your bank went under. @PraxosInc: Personal AI to take care of emails, Slack messages, Trello boards, and following up with your family to assure them that you're not dead… just busy. What else would you add?

**Patch Notes | 2025-Oct-08 | New Capabilities** *Triggers* You can now add triggers by asking Praxos to set them for you. Triggers are conditions that, when they happen, trigger another action. For example: "If I receive an email from @LMUrbisaia, respond to him and tell him I'm busy, but send him the latest version of the update notes from Google doc." Triggers can be one time or indefinite, and can trigger any action, including reminders or scheduled ones, that Praxos can already do. Right now, triggers are only implemented on Gmail, assuming you have given Praxos read access. Other integrations, such as calendar, Notion, Slack, Discord, and Trello will be rolled out over the course of the week as we receive authorization from each provider. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Trello* Added Trello support. Praxos can now access it as both a task board for team management as well as a personal to-do manager. We have found that interfaces quite nicely with the next capability, allowing it to create detailed cards with plenty of instructions, as well as moving, editing, and creating through voice notes. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Extended Web and Google Lens support* Praxos can now autonomously browse the web, researching tasks, finding airbnbs, and figuring out links to items you saw and want to buy, or anything else. Just snap a picture and send it over.

Patch Notes: 29.09.2025 New Capabilities 1) iMessage Support:1) iMessage Support. iMessage is now a supported integration for interacting with Praxos. You can simply add it from the integrations menu. 2) Integration magic links. AI can now send you magic links to integrate an app without having to manually provide credentials for an integration. Click the link and an oauth window will open. 3) Audio, Video, Image generation support. We have always supported multimedia and file input (despite some issues xD). You can now directly ask for generation of any of the above. 4) New tools for Notion and Gmail, allowing much more extensive 'find' operations as well as creating databases and pages much more freely. Bug Fixes Scheduling bug finally tracked and fixed. Minor fixes to contact search in email. User preference tracking was sometimes not working. This is now fixed. Road map Triggered actions. This means that you can tell Praxos to do something if another event happens. For example, if I get an email from my father with my birth certificate, send me the image here on Whatsapp. Increasing processing speed.

Text messaging with AI is the next form factor to hit 1 billion users, I have 100% conviction on this. The fact that every AI company isn’t doing this with urgency is absurd.

Look at how they massacred my boy… A welcome message should feel like unwrapping a gift. That's why I spent 2 hours picking the font, colors, and words for our signup email. You can't imagine how exciting it felt to see it live on my laptop. Until I also checked it on my phone's Gmail app. It seems Google strips CSS styling when displaying emails on phones. Security they call it. The result? I'd rather shut my eyes than stare at this ugly thing. The things we've sacrificed... PS: if you've cracked Gmail's CSS rules, I need your help. I'll give you a free sub to @PraxosInc.

Github repository names are company culture. It's always fun to 5 to 10 seconds thinking about what new feature may be connected to each name. This is also a sign that alignment shows up even in unexpected, small things, like coding aesthetics. It was not enforced. Instead, someone spent a few minutes coming up with a good name; they were paying it forward to the next person to log in.

When does AI integrate with e-signing platforms? Because let me tell you how lazy people are in RE There are people who literally get paid to do nothing but the paperwork an in CA real estate transactions theres a ton of it and they don't want to get their clients to sign reports If AI can literally look for anywhere that says Name and Signature and drop a signature block in and their full name Or initials or signature + name of every single person required to sign on every different document This would replace this pain in the butt task of getting docs signed/acknowledged

Every 6 months, I have a day of wondering whether json/data extraction from PDFs, Excels, etc. can be done in a morpheme-analysis way. By this I mean if documents can be broken down into components which determine the keys you need, like commonly used Form headers. We did it for insurance at Praxos, but there were constraints there that made it much more tractable. However, how would you cut a random document without constraints into independent blocks automatically?
