On 5th Sep I received a banking message from @ICICIBank saying a standing instruction on my @amazonpay credit card was set for @canva. The message instructed a method to cancel the standing instruction through their website. #fraud #icici #canva #RBI #amazon

In one screenshot they also recommend using WhatsApp chat or website to cancel a AutoDebit. And yesterday when I asked to cancel standing instruction on WhatsApp, why did ICICI refer to it as Auto Debit and assured nothing is set on my card!

Today my ₹ got deducted & their call centre is telling me Auto Debit is different from Standing Instruction!! And we do not cancel anything via WhatsApp In the 2nd screenshot shared, one can see their written communication interchangeable uses standing instruction & auto Debit
