@itsagamefirst As we now know - the theoretical roots are fundamentally different, and as such how learning is conceived as taking place.

Upland farmers who farm on common land have found themselves excluded from future agri-environment schemes because the computer software prevents their applications. This is a disaster for hill farmers, our environment, and our tourism economy. I'm fighting to get this fixed.

Most people don’t realise where the £180 million actually went at the A303 Stonehenge tunnel project. It wasn’t construction. It was years of: • Environmental impact assessments • Heritage & archaeological studies • Legal challenges and consultations • Design, engineering and traffic modelling • Public inquiries and revisions All before a single shovel hit the ground. This is the real problem in Britain: We don’t just waste money, we build systems that guarantee it. £180 million to build nothing.

The A303 Stonehenge tunnel has been scrapped after years of planning. £180 million. Gone. Not a single mile built. Not a single benefit delivered. Just taxpayer money burned. Who is actually held accountable for this?

It's no longer OK for you to sit in the house of Lords because your dad did. But if your mate put you there? That's fine. Neither of these really feel like democracy to me.

Listening the @BBCNews interviewing Steve Reed re Iran and fuel prices. Apparently petrol and diesel have risen 5p and 8p at the pump. Why has farm diesel for risen by 40p already?

Mixed farming brings al the sparrows to the yard, as much as the dream might be wild countryside, it’s not a big producer of food for birds especially this time of year. Mixed farming by its nature is the only producer of food for everything and everyone

With few exceptions this is the best diagnosis of what’s gone wrong with the British state I’ve heard. I disagree with @afneil about putting more power in No.10, I’d rather a return to a first among equals model with real power for the Cabinet. But the rest I agree with 100%.

Predictable. 7:35am we are off with 1 crash. Fortunately just one car losing control and off the road. I’m getting out of the way before I get hit by someone else losing control as they try to brake to avoid that one!
Tom Jewers@cutlerstom

Now @suffolkcc, it’s been wet today and forecast to freeze tonight. That means there will be black ice at the Junction of lower road and Buxhall Fenn street. Couple of weeks ago it was 4 accidents. Will you grit tonight, or shall we try and break the record in the morning?
