I have around 65 watches at this point and I think I’m gonna get maybe 50-100 more before I slow down. Then I’ll trade all of them to someone for a shack in Japan where I eat squid while it’s still alive and maybe some white rice. Anyone got any recommendations? #ratches #japs

Usually good 3rd party sellers will cut you a deal on Rolex if you’re also buying VC, IWC, Patek, and less desirable AP’s. Plus Cartier for the wife of course. But those are all watches I/we want, and a lot even go for under MSRP.

Nobody congratulated me on quitting drinking so I think I’m gonna pick it back up again this summer. I loved laying on the floor with one of the best bottles of wine in town and listening to Bon Iver or CAS. The drunk sweet-spot is like a time machine to your best memories.

@plk669888 @DonCryptoDraper I’ll add that many people who feel the way you do neglect the applicability of the advice. Nobody is going to change their wardrobe to match. There’s already too many things to address, like their Marvel t-shirt. I own a few pocket watches and made a few conversions. I get it.

It's so amusing, the Rolex/watch cult. They all basically look the same, ugly, generic, silver chunks which are there to indicate crass status based on rarity/cost to aesthetically undeveloped idiots. Get a proper pocket watch and chain, learn to clean/repair it yourself and stop being a baby.

@DonCryptoDraper @randgroup Ah man, you can’t fully appreciate a basic explorer without understanding other watches out there. Not knowing about the Cartier santos while owning a Rolex says the brand means more to you than the watch.
