Less supply from the Gulf means buyers like China and India are competing harder, and Moscow is selling with smaller discounts. In just a week after the strikes on Iran, Russia’s fossil fuel revenues jumped around 14%. Even shipments already at sea are being resold at higher prices. So while the region destabilizes, cash is flowing into the Kremlin. But if Iran gets weakened too much, Russia risks losing one of its key allies in the region.
