Good result for Stevens, although it is worth nothing that Glengariff has been a consistently strong poll for her this primary. They’ve had her ahead in every survey they’ve conducted so far.

My great grandma turns 90 this year and her and her three sisters have a Michigan accent, but it’s not close to haley’s at all. They’re french and irish and not polish though, so maybe you’re right about that. I’ll get my mom’s thoughts on what her polish grandma(born 1916) sounded like.

AIPAC is spending more than 8x as much as the entire pro-@AbdulElSayed campaign, and Haley Stevens isn't even on the air. I'm not sure I have ever seen anything like this in a Senate race.

👋🏽 Real Michigander here! My dad was raised by a single mom and grew up in section 8 housing. My grandma worked two and sometimes three jobs to raise her sons. My dad put himself through nursing school at our local community college with a good union job packing boxes into trucks at UPS. He spent 15 years paying off his student loans. My mom has no college degree and was raised by a musician/landscaper who is still working in his seventies. She sold cellphones for most of her career and did some direct sales. My grandpa is a former Steelworker and member of the American Federation of Musicians, he’s owned his own landscaping company(where he is literally the only employee) for over thirty years. All of them are voting for Abdul. @neeratanden, I know working class Michiganders… you have no idea what you’re talking about.
