This is the best polling Texas Dems have had in a Senate race this century. Talarico's chances are very real. He's polling ~10 pts better than O'Rourke (2018) was at this pt. Paxton's net favorable is ~15 pts lower than Cruz was (2018). Trump's much less popular than in 2018.
