People like this think they are deep. We would have remained cave dwellers if the world were filled with their kind.

The ability to sprint (Larry is only 31) will always be a KPI - it is unique in its ability to highlight fragilities, restrictions, joint, muscle and tendon problems.
Larry is immensely strong, and surprisingly good at calisthenics but sprinting highlights his weaknesses. He doesn't claim to be a sprinter and seems to be a good sport in trying out things where he looks stupid - credit for that. He's a good guy.
The ability to run fast as you age is a superpower - robust, vital and dynamic. There is no feeling like it. Overcoming inertia and gravity is the challenge of old age. When you sprint, you are literally doing that.

Underreported: A major US satellite imagery company has announced that it will stop publishing high-resolution images of Middle East conflict zones following a request from the US government.
Getting into it: The announcement came from Planet Labs, which said it would implement an “indefinite withhold of imagery” at the request of the US government. The company told clients they’re shifting to a managed access model, meaning high-resolution images from affected areas will no longer be released publicly and instead will be distributed only on a case-by-case basis for urgent, mission-critical, or public-interest needs.
According to Planet Labs, this policy will apply retroactively to imagery dating back to March 9, 2026. The restrictions will impact satellite imagery over all of Iran, US military installations, allied bases, and Gulf countries. Vantor, another satellite company, has also implemented similar restrictions on high-resolution imagery in Middle East conflict zones.
This move will effectively cut off what has historically been a near-immediate stream of commercial satellite data that is typically available within hours. Notably, there have been instances where this imagery has revealed damage to US infrastructure and military assets in the region not publicly acknowledged by the US government.
Despite the moves, China has continued to allow the release of high-resolution satellite imagery through commercial firms such as MizarVision, which has published detailed images of US military deployments across the Middle East.
These images have shown advanced aircraft, transport planes, refueling tankers, and surveillance systems positioned at bases in countries including Qatar, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia, as well as movements of naval assets near Iranian waters. They’ve also shown damage to US interests in the region.
No comment from the White House or Pentagon.

Imagine being this close to 7 (!) GBU-31 JDAMs landing nearly simultaneously. I'm frankly amazed that the person filming it survived.

Graphics peaked around 2015. There's really no point in adding more graphics capabilities. You're beyond the point of diminishing returns.
You can just use 2015 technology and make good games.

These two images were taken by @astro_reid only minutes apart. The stark difference is the result of camera settings. In the first, a longer shutter speed let in much more light from Earth, while the shorter shutter speed in the second emphasizes our planet's nighttime glow.

Our Artemis II crew will be going around the Moon, but they'll always find their way back home 🌎
During this complex journey, the four astronauts will travel ~685,000 miles on a trajectory around the Moon and back to Earth.

Hamilton was right: he had NO POWER to defend from LEC and RUS! 🪫
LEC reached 317 km/h without slipstream or overtake mode, HAM just 307 (Lap 42)
And that's nothing: LEC reached 330 when in HAM's slipstream, but the latter didn't exceed 306 when the roles inverted! (Lap 43, and RUS overtook him)
Behind HAM, LEC gained 0.391s on the main straight. Behind LEC, HAM LOST 0.250s (while RUS gained 0.529s)
So:
-For some reason (bug?) HAM didn't have the ERS power needed to defend ❌
-RUS could overtake HAM more easily than LEC did... even though he was 0.144s further behind on the straight! 🚀

No, this is wheel to wheel racing. What you posted was all pure DRS overtaking on straights, and the only reason you prefered it is because Max came out on top.

You can actually have good wheel to wheel racing without artificially slowing down the car in front btw x.com/i/status/17733…
