@6Voodoo The main point is not some hyperbole about an "epoch altering event" but rather the demonstration of how easily these planes can be hit. This means F-35s won't be carrying out extensive airstrikes with gravity bombs, and once we're out of standoff munitions we're de-fanged.

Anyone arguing that minor damage to a US aircraft, sustained while lollygagging over hostile airspace is an epoch altering event is arguing the US military is so strong that the mere damaging of one of its weapons is a great feat.
