@mattwallace_AA I’d suggest that, as the world’s largest airline, that you revisit your contingency and communications plan when inclement weather hits. This is simply unacceptable. If we can send people to space and use AI to diagnose cancer, we should be able to solve for this.

@mattywid @6abc @CBSPhiladelphia @NBCPhiladelphia No. Worst was seeing families with babies and young kids crying at midnight waiting in line. Surprising that airlines can transport luggage without cert of carriage. Seems strange. Good luck with everything!

This is what American Airlines is doing at PHL. Bags everywhere, hardly any staff, lines of customers all being told to “submit a claim”. No security for people’s belongings.

@mattywid @6abc @CBSPhiladelphia @NBCPhiladelphia Dealt with this last night. Our flights to BOS with connection to Hong Kong cancelled and didn’t rebook us. They told us bags would stay in Philly. But they flew them out to BOS this morning!

@AmericanAir Why did you fly our luggage to Boston even though our flight was cancelled and we will no longer head there? You are supposed to return luggage to us. This is grossly unacceptable. @thepointsguy

@AmericanAir cancelled flights from PHL to BOS tonite & we missed connecting flight to HK to visit a sick relative. Found alternative to fly from JFK tmr w/another airline but @AmericanAir may not retrieve our bags from system in time for us to make that flight. Seriously??
