The fund on 0x2d70, along with 0x2505393295847525577f83a8dfcb2f1a908bfe2 and 0x961149853ad31c5640ea8081459fabdd94a2a428, is likely traced to @earnhubBSC rug-pull in late 2021 early 2022. 😲 Built-in Malware Found in Contec CMS8000 Medical Devices The U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) has identified critical vulnerabilities in the Contec CMS8000 Patient Monitor, manufactured by China’s Contec Health. These devices, used globally—including in Israel—to monitor patient vitals, have been found to contain built-in malware. Key Findings: •Hidden Backdoor: The device sends remote access requests to a hard-coded IP address, bypassing existing network settings. This backdoor could allow malicious actors to upload and overwrite files on the device. •Patient Data Exposure: In its default configuration, the monitor transmits unencrypted patient data to a hard-coded public IP address, potentially leaking confidential information. CISA’s Recommendations: •Immediate Action: Remove any Contec CMS8000 devices from networks to prevent potential exploitation. •Stay Informed: For detailed guidance and updates, refer to CISA’s advisory on this issue.
