Little big update on the @linear UI. It started as a design exploration in Figma, then became a two-person effort to build prototypes and tools with agents. From there, we went back into Figma, more code, and eventually released it internally behind a feature flag that we can turn on and off in the product.

We shipped a new nav for Wealthsimple web. It’s part of a broader push to make the web experience the best place to trade and bank. Change always comes with a bit of muscle-memory pain, but trust the process. This unlocked a much stronger foundation for what’s coming 🔜

@charlieaufmann @linear I really liked the subtle separation between the issue description/comments and the properties panel on the right. Felt like the same surface. Now it feels like there are a lot of pills and surfaces within a single issue.

Agents should be part of every step of your product development process. Here's how @Linear does it: 1. Understand the problem Agents read every customer conversation, auto-create issues, de-dupe them against the backlog, and assign them to the right team. 2. Identify solution Agents pull insights from real customer data to help you draft and iterate on specs. 3. Make a plan Specs get broken into issues and routed to the right teams automatically. Agents now create the majority of Linear's tickets. 4. Execute Bugs and small features go straight to coding agents. after 4 years of building and designing, i'm closing my chapter with @tessact_ai watching what began as a collaboration tool go on to redefine how teams produce media has been one of the most fulfilling projects of my life. none of this would've been possible without @apurv_gandhwani, @naveen_io , and a cracked af team. like Sonny Hayes would say, “Couple more dragons to slay.”
