I completely understand that ANI has a large media operation to run, from paying freelancers to managing on-ground staff. So charging a reasonable fee like Rs 1 to 2 lakh for use of footage makes sense. But asking independent creators like Mohak Mangal to pay Rs 45-50 lakh for a few seconds of video used under fair use? That’s not just excessive, it feels punitive. Most creators run small, lean teams and use such footage purely for commentary or educational purposes. This kind of demand threatens the creative ecosystem instead of supporting it. Let’s find a middle ground that respects both, original media work and fair creator usage. What do you think could be the best solution for this?

The service they're offering isn't commensurate with what they're asking YouTubers to pay, and that too by threatening them.
