Today, we were able to take part in extending and connecting water lines inside the shelters so displaced families could access water more easily and with greater dignity. Seeing water finally reach people in the middle of all this destruction is a feeling beyond words, especially when you truly witness the suffering they endure every single day.
What hurts me is that while I try, alongside others, to help people survive these conditions, my own family is suffering silently too. My elderly father is diabetic, my mother suffers from severe back pain, and my little sister Zein, who has cerebral palsy, is growing weaker day after day because of malnutrition and the lack of proper care in Gaza.
Yet we continue moving forward — cleaning shelters, fighting the spread of disease, helping families, and trying to protect children from living among filth, rats, and sewage water. We are exhausted, but we refuse to give up.

For those feeling discouraged by the horrific news coming from Palestine, I urge you all to follow Nizar @nizar_almasre (and consider donating to his campaign). After the Israeli occupation destroyed his law office, he started a number humanitarian initiatives to help the survivors of the genocide.
These projects, like the one in the quoted post, are truly remarkable and provide beacons of hope & survival for the people of Gaza. He does all this while caring for his paralyzed 12 year old sister, Zain. Today is his 26th birthday, please show him some love.

Albanese had submitted reports denouncing Israel's mass killing and ethnic cleansing. She also named US companies such as Google and Palantir who facilitated Israel's actions.
The ruling was made by senior DC judge Richard D. Leon who was appointed by President George W. Bush in 2002.
US sanctions are still active against European and Canadian ICC judges (the legality of which was not considered) and punitive measures against Albanese could be reimposed during subsequent hearings.
The EU can block the sanctions using its "blocking statute" — a move Spain's government said it would back. But will it?
