The fundamental disagreement we have:
- one side thinks it is a politicians job to prevent the government and others from encroaching upon your rights (conservatives/classical liberals/libertarians)
- the other side thinks it is a politicians job to ensure needs/wants are met (progressives/socialists/communists/Marxists)
The 2 are inherently incapatible.

The people being rounded up at work or in the school carpool lane aren't the violent thugs in these situations.
It is the goons with badges who are now feeling entitled after they murdered a citizen.
