@SouthwestAir @GregWooll5 Actively review faster. Was on a flight from MIA-BNA and the first 5 bins were closed. ??? Don’t understand why. I paid more so I can guarantee that I’ll have space to put my carryon up.

We know how important it is for our Customers to have a smooth boarding experience and access to nearby overhead bin space. We understand how disappointing it must have been to board earlier in the process yet find limited or no space near your seat. Please know we’re actively reviewing concerns like yours as we continue to enhance our Customer Experience. - Jeni

@Faytuks If they were, why would they close the airspace over a major city for several days telegraphing their operation and why would they use airspace over that city for the operation when there is lots of deadspace just a few miles on either side?

@JTownGip @FlemingAshlye @NashSevereWx I took surface roads. Safest thing is to just stay put but if they must leave I’d say take the biggest road, no highway, and do it sooner than later. She should be fine in a Bronco if they just take it slow.

@ProducerWCooper @FlemingAshlye @NashSevereWx Did you take surface main roads or interstate? My daughter and her bf are at Hillsboro Village but could have power if they could get to Mt. Juliet. Do you think it’s too risky? Neither have ever really driven in this stuff before but she has a bronco, if that helps.

NWS Nashville: "Wind gusts between 15-25 mph will be likely today and through most of the day tomorrow. These winds will exacerbate trees and powerlines that are weighed down with ice. Coupling this with a big drop in temperatures tonight means a flash freeze will be possible. Any areas of slush or partial melting that may occur today will rapidly re-freeze tonight, so please use extreme caution. Travel is discouraged as road conditions will remain treacherous."

Due to the ongoing government shutdown and nationwide air traffic control staffing shortages, the FAA has directed airlines to reduce flight schedules to maintain safe airspace operations starting Friday, Nov. 7. We expect the vast majority of customers’ travel will proceed as planned, and we will proactively reach out to customers who are impacted as schedule changes are made. As always, we encourage everyone to check their flight status via the American Airlines mobile app or aa.com.

@MurrayHillGuy1 "Sorry to hear that, buddy. I don't get it, but I'll be here if you need me. You're still my friend, even if you don't feel the same way." Taking the high road is a form of communication judo - the gut punch will be reversed and leave a lasting impact.

@nicksortor Often pilots will “click” their mics when they aren’t required to respond but still want tower to know message received. Those clicks are other planes receiving the message and acknowledging it. Really touching.

Have to add...ETAs may be later than our last update. HRRR data slows the line down and pushes everything back by an hour+. Bottom line: let's be sure to either stay up or be sure we have our phones ready to be alerted in the event of a warning. Storm line is pretty far away rn / 854 PM
