Not very quantifiable, but data should be accumulated. Unless its something very serious like Hatters being poisoned by mercury, its generally interpreted politically. Much better to place realistic REASONABLE levels on pollution and have regulations which enforce measurement and large fines for breaking those regulations. Carbon dioxide obviously is not a pollutant but a food source for plants. We don't want it to go too low in concentration or too high. A value of 300-1200ppm seems reasonable now we know there was no molecular basis for Hansen or Manns fear mongering. There are a few other things we need to keep an eye on like aerosols. Some are trivial and some come and go

#auspol ahealine today about I had never heard of it ESG stands for Environmental, Social, and Governance, a framework used to evaluate a company’s sustainability and ethical impact. Clearly not capitalism. Just writing it makes me to want to vote on the right.

#auspol Its a free climate science book that deals with all the facts- you dont need to believe in the interpretation (which I largely do) but you do need the facts before making judgements- just surf the web for it. Its full of detailed science, so some takes a bit of an effort but its the only way to go.

Chlorophyll and Hemoglobin The major difference is that plant blood carries a Magnesium (Mg) molecule where our blood contains a Iron (Fe) molecule. Magnesium is what is responsible for making plant blood green, and iron is what makes our blood red.

Needs to be in perspective. I was never convinced by a CO2 -warming relationship because detailed analysis shows the CO2 increase comes after warming. That's not that CO2 is not a greenhouse gas it - its just been over played especially above 400ppm where the atmospheric moelcular collision chemistry shows it does not do much more at higher concentrations. To my surprise much of all of this was all know ( see book) before I found out for myself by my own calculations. I am surprised those who got concerned ignore it.

CO₂ levels remained stable for 3 million years as the planet cooled into the Ice Age. The Pleistocene CO₂-temperature relationship, which convinced scientists that CO₂ drives the climate, is actually the exception, not the rule. nature.com/articles/s4158… sciencealert.com/something-else…

We should not hold AI in some sort of position of authority. Its just a massive and better data base. However its a good point to use such a better data base to see what you get-the answer is not necessarily correct if you get the answer you want. The use of proxies are classic- every temperature proxies has thousands even millions of sub variables it depends on. The best we can do is group those together we think are less error free or use the few that clearly almost are, like enantiomers and 18O/O16 ratios in ice sufficiently below the surface.
