@k_diedricks @D_Molatoli There are indeed very good lawyers out there such as Zola Majavu and Andrew Maoba. Guys that doesn't catch the limelight because they look after the interests and pockets of the poor. They help where those high paid Adv's and lawyers refuse to help because it doesn't pay well

I actually worked with Muzi for many years and think he is a brilliant Advocate when it comes to certain areas of the law. Such as Commercial law matters or administrative law matters. He and Chaskelson were in the same group at the time I used him. This is not about white or black but about who is good in a certain field of law. If you had experience with good black advocates in criminal matters, please let me know who they are. I prefer that black advocates or attorneys be appointed if they have the experience and skill. It ensures transformation in the Industry. Blanket statements about black and white does not contribute meaningfully to si ch a debate.

I really hope General Masemola has considered being represented by Advocate Muzi Sikhakhane SC when he appears in court on the 21st April. I can't think of anyone best to represent him. He's the best in town at the moment and has done exceptionally well in representing General Mkhwanazi against Calvin Mathibeli, won twice in court.

@Sam_dzivah_ This is axactly how head on collissions happen. Instead of letting the fool go by just moving off the road you decide to play hard and the end result will be a 15 tone metal against a 1 tone pick up truck

@Dr_Chibuike_M You're an idiot and a disgrace to the medical profession for posting this online. This does not benefit the public in anyway and is infact disgusting. There are capable obstetricians and nurses whose duty it is to educate pregnant women on early signs of labour.

A Major General attached to the Division: Financial Management Services (Finance) at the National Head Office was informed by a Leiutenant Colonel that on 16 March 2026 he detected questionable transactions being performed on the POLFIN system at Protection and Security Services (PSS) Division based in Maupa Naga, Sunnyside. Advances were paid out on cash to certain employees (police officers) and no approved advance requests forms (SAPS 156) was uploaded on the POLFIN system for these advances. Only a memorandum for protection duties for the President of the Republic of South Africa, President Cyril Ramaphosa, was uploaded on the POLFIN system. Suspiciously, the police officers who the cash advances were paid to, are not listed on the memorandum and do not form part of the teams protecting the President . There were two cash advances that were paid to each police officer, which also raised the alarm. Estimated amount of +- R3 Million rand prejudice suffered by the SAPS. Investigation is underway, and arrests can be expected soon.

Feroz Khan, the ostentatious head of counter-intelligence within SAPS Crime Intelligence, is alleged to have summoned MKP parliamentarian Sibonelo Nomvalo to a private venue, where Nomvalo was compelled to engage with Khan via video call. During that exchange, Khan reportedly issued a thinly veiled warning, instructing Nomvalo to “stop suffocating” him. What more must National Commissioner Fannie Masemola be presented with before he acts decisively? Khan stands accused not only of impropriety, but of openly fraternising with criminal elements and politically exposed figures—conduct that strikes at the very heart of the integrity of the police service. Lest we forget, during his testimony before the ad hoc committee today, Masemola indicated that a fresh investigation into Khan — linked to the multimillion-rand drug incident for which he had previously been implicated but later cleared — has now also cleared him of any wrongdoing.

Suspended SAPS Sergeant Accuses KZN Top Cop Lt-Gen Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi of Torturing Him During Investigation into Kidnapping of KwaDukuza Businessman Zakariyya "Zak" Desai A suspended police officer, Samkeliso Mlotshwa, has made explosive allegations against KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) Police Commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi. Mlotshwa claimed he was tortured by SAPS members, including Mkhwanazi. Mlotshwa made this claim while testifying before the Ad Hoc Committee probing allegations of police corruption on Friday. He claimed police forced entry into his home in 2024 without a search warrant and later burned it down. Mlotshwa told the committee he was identified as a prime suspect in Desai's kidnapping case after the businessman was abducted outside a mosque in KwaDukuza on September 10, 2024. The case was handled by a multidisciplinary team in KZN that included members of the Hawks and the provincial tracking unit. The suspended officer testified that police officers forced entry into his home on November 20, 2024, while he was in Maputo. "The officers did not have a search warrant, and later they burned the house down. Days later, on November 23, I was detained in Maputo after I was arrested at a restaurant under the claim that I was an illegal immigrant. "I was taken to the nearest bush, where members of SAPS based in Maputo tortured me. When they were tired of torturing me and realized that I had no knowledge about Desai's disappearance, they then decided to take everything that I had in my possession, including my passports and money. I was detained there as an illegal immigrant," he said. According to Mlotshwa, he was moved on November 28 from a police station in Maputo to the Lebombo border post and handed over to KZN police. He described the transfer as an illegal rendition conducted without proper legal procedures before he was formally processed by investigators. Mlotshwa further claimed that on December 9, 2024, he and two Mozambican co-accused were taken from KwaDukuza police cells to a private farm despite having legal representation. He alleged they were transported in private vehicles belonging to Desai's brother and were subjected to interrogation. During the alleged interrogation, Mlotshwa said he and his co-accused were stripped naked and suffocated with a water-filled plastic bag. "During the torture, the provincial commissioner was present and participated in the torture. He went as far as telling me that I should have rather committed suicide than come to KZN," he testified. He claimed Mkhwanazi entered the room and instructed him to undress and squat. Charges against Mlotshwa were later withdrawn in January 2025, but he remains suspended without pay while the allegations are expected to be addressed before the committee. Mlotshwa concluded his testimony by accusing National Police Commissioner General Fannie Masemola and the Independent Police Investigative Directorate (Ipid) of failing to intervene. "It is disappointing and heartbreaking that the National Commissioner and Ipid have dismally failed to act decisively where illegal rendition, torture, and arson have been committed. They need to account and be held responsible for their lack of action," he said. Mkhwanazi and Masemola are set to return to the committee to respond to the allegations levelled against them.
