@DrLightsSon This is awesome. Looks like they are doing it right, no FPGA but some added features. Wonder how hard these are going to be to get...

Looks like SNK is rereleasing a 1:1 NEO GEO console this year. It’s a beautiful kit, and I’d consider springing for it if it wasn’t so expensive. The console bundle plus the 10 games at launch is $1000. 🫥 Even so it would make a nice addition to the collection…

As Cardano drops further down the cmc list, with tokens that are unheard of such as LEO overtaking it, and Tron now ~4x our marketcap. Lets point our attention again to the crazy spending from Catalyst and the treasury spearheaded and encouraged by Mr. Hoskinson. NCL 350M $ADA this, Intersect committee that, Catalyst round 15 this, Cardano calender and CF events that. Whale you are stupid this, OTC trades absorb all the selling that. Dingo node this, Amaru node that. Devs on the payroll this, we got to retain our quality engineers that. At the end of the day, we are dropping further down the drain, people are losing their lifesavings, holders losing faith, more pools retiring. Yet you want to keep funding IOG and infrastructure and paying for shit nobody asked for while they sell the ada they receive and have no skin in the game, while holders for 7-9 years have seen their investment stale, while other tokens outperformed ada by miles. Wake up you ignorant fools! Drep clowns can't see whats right infront of their eyes. Blinded by the lies and promises of green pastures. We are 2026 already and still below the marketcap of 2018. Stop funding this madness.

@DrLightsSon Full disclosure, I didn't own one until later in life, but I had a cousin that had one. Daytona USA, MK Trilogy, Sega Rally Championship... Saturns were rare as a kid, he was the only one I knew that owned one! Some really good shmups on that system too

I didn’t own a Saturn as kid, but I did rent the console several times! I ended up buying one from a retro gaming expo, maybe 10 years ago, but sold it with most of my collection. Very nostalgic system with some really great games. Can’t say I was a big fan of the controller, but it was certainly a step up from the Genesis. Astal, panzer Dragoon, virtua fighter two…🤌🏼🙂

Got into a box in the garage full of controllers for the systems I’ve had over the years. What systems aren’t here that you had?

Imagine you had to choose your life at age 40: Option A: Single. No kids. $10M net worth. Travel anywhere. Total freedom. Quiet house. Quiet holidays. Option B: Married. 3 kids. $1M net worth. Drive a Toyota. Chaos every morning. Loud house. Full dinner table. Be honest, which life are you choosing?

@geerlingguy IMO their OS started to go downhill when they started moving out of the server space and dumbed down and put things behind the Server.app in Lion. Before that with workgroup manager in 10.6 it was pretty sweet.

@HephyPool @YoroiWallet SPOs will not be manually responsible for distribution of night. This I can confirm as per the latest developments of the design of this mechanism.

One delegation. Dual reward streams. How staking $ADA on YOROI staking pool earns you $NIGHT 🌙 Cardano staking is simple: delegate $ADA to a stake pool, the pool produces blocks, and you earn $ADA rewards. Midnight is a data-protection blockchain built alongside Cardano. It needs validators to run its network, and those validators are Cardano SPOs. When an SPO operates both a Cardano node AND a Midnight validator, delegators become eligible for Dual Rewards. That means when you delegate $ADA to us, you earn $ADA + $NIGHT rewards. Stake $ADA and earn across two networks from a pool that’s been on Cardano since day one.

Oh my gosh, trying to buy a Mac. I feel like it's as bad as trying to buy a Dell. The options are ridiculous, so confusing. How did Apple become like this?

A lot of people are leaving Cardano to go find full time work elsewhere at these prices simply because these prices can't sustain full time work for most people. Months of trading sideways/down is leading to a exodus.

@bigpey Yep. Those people who say “I don’t care about the price of Ada” should not be asking for treasury money. Can’t bank the unbanked on an asset that drops 90% cycle to cycle.

ADA price matters. Miss me with that I'm only in it for the tech shit. Go fanboy over Linux, a open-source repo with no token. The security of this blockchain, and its ability to impact the World relies on price. Price go up = more security & ability to innovate

I still can't wrap my head around the fact that a loop + LLM can investigate and solve problems autonomously. As a developer, my only task now is to provide a clear problem statement + reward function. Software used to be about problem-solving; today, it is about meta-problem-solving. I believe school teachers will be especially good at navigating this new era of AI, as teaching kids is about setting the right environment for them to do the thinking.

2025 was the year that traditional coding died without a doubt. Software isn’t going anywhere, but manually manipulating text files containing code is now the exceptional case, not the norm. I have to step in and correct things with a rapidly decreasing frequency. The only limits now are your ideas and your ability to deploy to production and maintain the production system.
