They seem to have moved more into historic rallying and have made hints at coming back to GT, but needed to spend the cash they had on other things, a new building etc. With more sponsorship, maybe they carry on racing?

@NicoleOnRacing Potential snobbery. They see it as being more elite and not as commercial or popular as F1. Personally, I welcome all. The more supporters means more coverage which brings in more money via sponsors. I lost 2 of my favourite teams, 1 in endurance and 1 in GT because of money.

@GPLapsJake Don't know about in the USA, but in Europe there are quite a few female drivers competing with the men without any issues. OK, maybe not at the level of WRC or F1, but looking to WEC and ELMS and there they are, not just competing, but often beating.

Slowly I am getting to the tipping point where I'm considering giving up on console gaming. The PC I have was bought just for sim racing, it isn't super powerful so I've never used it for other gaming that much. But lately I've been considering just going PC only.

@longislandviper Does all this stem from the Sony hack a few years ago? Since then I have changed both my username and associated account email address, I do have 2FA on, but as your situation shows, something that should be secure, can be bypassed by human error at Sony.

With the help of my friends and connections at Sony, I got my account back. I want to thank everyone for their kind words, advice, and direction! It meant a lot. I fully know I exercised advantages due only and exclusively to my stature in the PlayStation community and my many tethers to the mothership. These are absolutely not privileges many other people have. I simply must acknowledge that. With that said, I know this has been happening to a lot of folks over time, and we've even covered it on Sacred Symbols on a few occasions. I will dive deep into the situation on the next episode, but rest assured I am already bending (and will continue to bend) the ears of who I can to hopefully help convince the powers-that-be that this is a real issue they have to contend with. Thanks again.

My PSN account was hacked, seemingly as part of an ongoing sophisticated series of moves against both random and "prominent" users. Indeed, I was told by someone a few days ago that I was going to be targeted, and he was right. (He was also hacked.)

@BeeNetwork It was about 06:50am today. Was only showing the message about the football. Only when I noticed no Ashton tram on the board did I check my phone to see what was going on. Had the exact same issue a few weeks ago when the Ashton tram had to go from deansgate again.

@BeeNetwork would be really useful for customers if you put notifications on your digital arrival boards when a service is disrupted. Standing at cornbrook waiting for the Ashton tram, only to find out it's not running through there at the moment, but is leaving from deansgate 🤡

@BeeNetwork There was nothing about it at Cornbrook at 6:50 this morning. Only details of the Manchester United match this weekend. This is the second time in recent weeks this has happened. If someone is not carrying a mobile with internet, how would they know where to catch the tram?
