when my 4-year-old’s daycare held a “lunch with mom” event, every single mom showed up. we all have other jobs, which is why our kids are in daycare. but we took off work or found a way to get there in the middle of the day. now, they’re doing an event for the dads … at 6:30 in the evening. it’s a small example, but the double standards are real.

I agree that the double standards are real BUT a dad's NATURAL role is to provide and providers by nature are supposed to be at work during the day. I can bet you that the school administrators and teachers are mostly women and they know based on experience and nature that most men won't be available for "lunch with dad" events. Society will frown at a jobless man but not at a jobless woman. The expectations from both parents are not the same.

In case you haven't been following the Duggar story: Joseph Duggar molested his wife's 9-year-old little sister on a family vacation. She eventually got up the courage to tell her father. He confronted Joseph. Joseph confessed and apologized and ACTUALLY THOUGHT THAT WOULD BE THE END OF IT. His father-in-law went to police, and via police got the confession reiterated on a recorded call. Joseph was arrested. Pursuant to state law, his arrest triggered an automatic home investigation to determine the safety of his four children. This investigation led to his wife, Kendra's, arrest and the removal of their children. Prison phone calls reveal Kendra and the entire Duggar family are standing with Joseph, and they all seem to think God is on their side against what they view as attack by the enemy. No acknowledgement of the seriousness of his crime and what it's done to his family. Joseph Duggar pled not guilty. And Joseph and Kendra are kicking her family out of the home they gifted them in retaliation for turning him in.

That makes Rachel ineligible to serve or run as a representative in LD17, clearly outside the location of the primary residence that both she and Seth have claimed for the last two years. Their words, their public documents, their signatures. In addition to that, they haven't provided any evidence of any residence in LD17, nor shown that the LD19 residence is occupied by anyone other than them, nor told us which of the documents they have signed are perjuries. Over three weeks of her own constituents asking the question and offering to meet with her to somehow clear it up, and...nothing but threats, gaslighting and victimhood. THIS IS A FRAUD. THEY THINK YOU ARE ALL VERY VERY STUPID.

It is outrageous that ICE agents have detained Islamic Society of Milwaukee President Salah Sarsour. He has been a legal resident of the Milwaukee community for 32 years. We know this wasn’t random, Mr. Sarsour was targeted for his advocacy and community organizing. He should be at home in Wisconsin with his 6 children and 9 grandchildren, not locked up in a detention center in Indiana.

With Respect to Vacating the Seat when you cease to be a resident Arizona Revised Statutes § 38-291 Vacancy defined : “An office shall be deemed vacant from and after the occurrence of any of the following events before the expiration of a term of office. … 5. If the office is elective, the person holding the office ceasing to be a resident of the state, or, if the office is local, or from a legislative or congressional district, the person holding the office ceasing to be a resident of the district, county, city, town or precinct for which the person was elected …” There is no grey area here. Rachel has vacated her seat and is ineligible to run in LD17. You are welcome.
