@Thefactsdude Everyone who lives in the country knows that if you stomp onto someone’s property without being introduced to the dogs by the owner, you can get bit. This is basic rural decorum. This cop’s stupidity is inexcusable.

NEW: Texas officer investigating a fire on private property shoots a dog after being attacked Last Friday, Arp Police Officer Pereida responded to a large fire behind a residence. While approaching the fence line to check if the home was in danger, two dogs crawled under the fence and attempted to attack him. The officer fired two shots from his service pistol, striking one dog. The injured dog fled, and the second dog continued to approach. Bodycam footage was activated after the shots and shows part of the encounter. The dog’s owner later told the chief that “everyone around here knows my dogs will bite” and that the officer should have taken a bite instead of shooting. Chief Joe Keegan reviewed the footage and ruled the officer’s actions legal and appropriate. The dog ultimately required euthanasia.

@Thefactsdude The police officer sounds retarded. This is the level of support you can expect in these small rural towns. The highschool bully becomes a cop, has a GED and continues to make stupid decisions the rest of his useless life.

@ChristianShute @ReviewsPossum Bingo. They immediately think the recreational fisherman who pays money for licenses where the funds go back into conservation. They have no idea of the commercial chinese fishing vessels committing millions of fish kills.

You know what's infuriating? When someone complains about a problem, but refuses to acknowledge the cause of that problem. For example, I see western media complain about poaching, but I hardly ever see them point to Chinese Traditional Medicine as the number one driver of it. They would rather have you believe that elephants are being driven to extinction by the illegal ivory trade because there's just such a huge global demand for piano keys or something.

@Quibblicious @HannesThurnherr @_sn_n Opening up protected lands for drilling or mining isn't done by the left lol. Try giving examples next time, like the Greenbelt of Ontario, or the Reef Mining of Australia, rather than just stating a bad opinion

Embedded in the side of the cup but not touching the flag is not holed if it is not entirely below the green. Resting against the flag with part of the ball below the green is holed. In this case, it’s not touching the flag, it’s driven into the green but not in the cup and above the surface. Need to mark, repair, then place and tap in for a 2.

@jayb0g1 @stnlss_stl_rt @ktyschwnk You couldn’t be any more wrong. DOGE was so efficient that it pulled back the curtains on Trump’s friends and other powerful people and Trump put a stop to that real fast

After an obscure defense vendor won a $12 million no-bid contract w/ ICE, I noticed something odd on its website: The firm was using a (still watermarked!) stock photo for the chief of its “development team.” Things only got more bizarre from there…

@buzzleapedyear @ryanjgibbons1 @RealPostFolder It’s also why so many wealthy offspring squander the wealth passed down to them. Like anything in life there needs to be a balance between helping them past 18 and completely abandoning them.

'Spreading his wings' philosophy is bullshit. This is something lazy parents do to get rid of their kids. Parents should get that children are a lifelong commitment and investment, not something to be disregarded after 18 years. When I was a teenager, I had a friend whose parents did this to him after college freshman year. Communication and all financial aid were cut off, saying that "it was for his own good." 2 years later, the most hardworking and brilliant person I knew, is working as a delivery guy just to make ends meet. He lived in a crappy basement in an old house belonging to a hag in the worst part of the town. This was a guy who topped in his class and voted most likely to become successful. If you want your son to have a good life, help him

Imagine this as the play in situation this year. Other than undeserving teams getting in, expanding the at large play ins make the seeding illogical . #13 ASU vs #13 Cal with an equal chance of getting into the field of 64 as #11 Texas & #11 NC State makes ZERO sense. With only 4 at large play in teams in the current set up, those 4 are essentially dead even on ranking/seeding. Now having 12 (!!!) of them play adds so much disparity between them. Another reason why this is dumb!

@chasin_dale @801bracketology @PeteThamel That’s what dumbasses like you & the NCAA think. This is just going to ruin the experience for the casual fans who want to fill out a bracket on Monday or Tuesday & wonder why 8 of the teams they picked aren’t even playing in the tournament when it starts on Thursday

Sources: The NCAA has initiated the final steps to expand the men’s and women’s NCAA basketball tournaments to 76 teams. The expansion is on track to be formalized in the upcoming weeks, with mid-May as the target. The 76-team tournaments begin next year. espn.com/mens-college-b…
