The world is terrible place not cos of the evils of the bad but the silence of the good. If intellectuals fold arms and watch, mediocres would rule and we all pay the price...God bless Nigeria

I believe @Profaosulaiman is the closest to what Kwara needs in terms of a charismatic leader who can consolidate on existing efforts and instantly create better outcomes for the everyday Kwaran. Even though there are several capable hands amongst the candidates, he cut it for me. Apart from being a man with progressive principles, he's shown capacity everywhere he's worked. He understands policy that can immediately make the life of an average Kwaran better and he will champion sustainable ones that will make the kwara system egalitarian. At this fragile period, we need a candidate who can unite all for the development of the state and Amana ticks all the boxes. Give one tangible reason (beyond parochial sentiment) you think Prof doesn't make the governor kwara desperately need now?

President Trump says the United States government was scammed by a group of people in the Middle East who kept the guns that were supposed to go to the Iranian people to overthrow their government. “They were supposed to go to the people so they could fight back.” “The people we sent them to kept them.”

15 years ago, I made this video back when I was still in “entertainment”. I left that path many years ago, but I never imagined I’d still need to share this message today. Focus on the message. 💔

The good professor @Profaosulaiman is competence personified. Anywhere Amana goes, people talk about his commitment to excellence and quality service delivery. This is the kind of person you would want to lead a state to take it further forward.
Faruq Atofarati@_atofarati

this same Prof Sulaiman Abubakar is who you are comparing with other candidates. I don’t think you guys understand the magnitude of his achievements as the DG NILDS. yesterday’s chapter was his achievements 11 years ago and we didn’t even finish the chapter yet.

Among those who have shown interest in leading the state in 2027 and beyond, nobody comes close. Like I have always said, states that are doing well, look at the antecedent of their leaders, you will see the similarities between them and Prof.

Time for @Profaosulaiman to lead Kwara state to a greater heights 2: He has repositioned @nildsnigeria and he can do the same in Kwara State @RealAARahman 2: give him a chance @Kwara_APC @Kwara_Yakoyo @Auatonkwara @DahiriOmoIlorin @IlorinInfo @UnilorinNGR @kwarablog @NansKwara2025 @_chiefagbabiaka @abdullahayofel @RealArije @gbengasaka @Mario9jaa @Wale_ITAKO @lollylarry1 @Solomon_dynasty @InsideIlorin_NG @iamAhmadOlolu

What an important poser that should agitate the mind of any politically aware and concerned Kwaran! We have said it before and we will say it again, 2027 is for Kwarans to get it right and we cannot afford to make mistakes in bringing back the State of Harmony to its glorious days of peaceful coexistence, proven leadership quality and excellence. Beyond all sentiments, check all the States that are doing well in terms of education, FDI, security, infrastructural developments, check the records of their Governors and other political leaders and associates, they have one thing in common: they prioritise education, track records and their leaders are intellectually mobile. So to answer your question my brother, the man whose head fits the cap perfectly is Professor Abubakar Sulaiman (Amana), the current Director General of the National Institute of Legislative and Democratic Studies and a former Minister of National Planning of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

@egi_nupe @Ade_Nurayn This is a very simple analogy. I wonder why most people don't get it. When people that attended public schools say they haven't benefited anything from the government,I make reference to the almost free education we enjoyed. The mental gymnastics that follows is usually unmatched

Them: how do you expect quality education when teachers are poorly paid. Me: I agree. Teachers can’t give quality education if they are paid poorly. Me: if you want teachers to be paid well and to get quality education, you have to pay good money for school fees, except government subsidises it. Them: I don’t agree. You can get good and quality education without paying high fees. Some of you walk around out confused thinkings

Yesterday at the National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies (NILDS), during the public lecture themed “Federalism and the Crisis of Security in Nigeria,” I reiterated that security remains the bedrock of sustainable development, democratic stability, and citizens’ confidence in governance, while emphasising the need for informed national dialogue and institutional reforms to strengthen our federal system.

“I have never seen leadership as something to possess. Power, to me, has always been a trust, something held briefly and answered for fully. I was raised to believe that authority exists to uplift, to strengthen institutions, and to leave people better than one met them.” — Destiny, Character and Leadership A philosophy that continues to guide my public service.

Introducing a man of integrity, Prof Abubakar Sulaiman. A professor of political science and international relations who from a humble beginning, has contributed over the last thirty years to the socio-political development of Nigeria both in academics and in public service. He has had a distinguished career in academia having served as a lecturer since 1997 and became a professor in 2014 at the University of Abuja. During his 22-year spell at the University, he was known for his utmost dedication, commitment and resilience, catering to the academic needs of the many students he taught. Professor Sulaiman supervised over 500 students at undergraduate, masters and doctoral level. It is also to his credit that some of his students and mentees went on to become Ministers, Directors, Director Generals, as well as Legislators at both national and sub-national levels, among others. His enviable records at the university appeared to have set the stage for several other accomplishments that dotted his path in life. Prof exemplifies leadership, character and integrity. Since yesterday, I have been inundated with messages and calls from different people asking to confirm if what they saw online about me being engaged to marry a mathna is true or not. While I have confirmed publicly and privately for those who matter, I have also chosen to ignore the trolls whose daily life affairs revolve around joblessness, small talks, idleness, and lack of self-respect. It is not my desire to engage or banter with anyone beneath me or who I owe zero obligation over my decision. Neither do I owe any apology for it. Frankly speaking, while I agree with those who hold the view that the manner of public notification was not exactly right, it was not my desire to hide my decision from the public, as it is what I am proud to stand by, before God and man, regardless of whose irrelevant ox is gored and I take full responsibility for it and it’s my pray that Allah continues to protect my family as a whole, from evil eyes, evil minds and rumour mongers. Also, by Allah, if/when I am sufficiently blessed and capable beyond my present position, and it is destined that I would marry more, I will never hesitate to do so. What I only pray and beseech Allah regularly, is never to test me or make me be involved with any woman or children, in a marriage, whom I would not be capable to do right by, justly and fairly, as He commanded. The day I am tempted to be unjust and unfair to anyone against the will of Allah, He should take me. I also pray against challenges that will be more than what I can handle or bear. My priority is my family and I will live the rest of my life putting them first. Whoever is not pleased with that should continue to live in the sadness of their choice and while I continue to bask in the happiness of mine. On a final note, many thanks to those who sent in their prayers and good wishes, I pray that happiness shall not cease in your households too. We will still have many more things to rejoice and celebrate with one another. Amen. 🙏 Thank you. Muhammed Adam ⭐ ⭐
