Anyone else hoping Bombsight actually stays the way they’re portraying him in Season 5? He’s one of the few characters giving off actual “hero” vibes, and from the trailer he doesn’t seem like the stereotypical racist 1950s-era supe either, especially with scenes like the one where he’s shaking hands with Black civilians

The Boys was great when the Supes had their strengths and weaknesses. A-Train had super speed but a dodgy heart. Translucent's skin was bulletproof but his insides weren't. Sage was the smartest person in the world but she longed to just zone out to trash TV and had to lobotomise herself to do so. The Deep was master of the ocean but on land, his gills were a weakness point... and his stupidity. This meant The Boys could have a plan to stop them, or a convenient way to have the Supe out of action, without just rewriting powers to suit the plot.

I think this is the only time we see Butcher genuinely laughing in the series

Solider Boy is the only Boys character who defeats their DC or Marvel counterpart. The others all lose badly
