Make of this what you will... My followers and those who interact with my tweets are overwhelmingly decent, with the occasional knucklehead. But the responses to my comments on gambling ads have been unusually abusive and sweary.

Imagine using political capital to confront the gambling lobby, but not taking the opportunity to strike a *proper* blow? All of the risk, for a mediocre return If you're going to annoy the bookies, sports and broadcasters, at least make it worthwhile by completely banning ads!

Um, PM, what about gambling ads? I mean, you care about the kids, right? Or is that only when it's politically convenient?

We *must* look after those with genuine disability. But the NDIS program is a rolled-gold disaster. It cannot be reformed, because the *very structure* is the problem. (And if 1 in 6 boys has a disability we either have an existential crisis, or we need to redefine the term.)

This is an astounding stat. Since Q2 2022, the nominal growth in hours worked in Healthcare and Social Assistance in Australia has outstripped the entire market economy. Which encompasses every single other industry in the economy ex-government and education.

@Propertyhuntaus @disco___cat Are you sure? Capital gains for the sale assets you have held for more than a year is taxed at half the rate. But dividends, interest and other earnings are taxed at your marginal rate as far as I understand.

As a kid I grew up with a dream to play football professionally and for my country, but not without plenty of doubt as to whether I’d ever be good enough. Looking back, I feel I tried to take the approach of giving my all each day in order to learn, grow and improve to see how far that could take me. To be here today being one of 3 players to reach the milestone of 100 games for the @Socceroos is the best example I can give to someone/anyone that Dreams Do Come True and so I hope I can influence others out there to set their bar high and go on their relentless chase of making their dreams come true also. Thank you to all who’ve helped me make my dream a continuos reality and you know I’ll be using today to make sure I continue that journey as well as I possibly can. #Grateful 💚💛

Interesting the media haven't said a word about the AFL's questionable at best tweet last night. Any other sport in this country, they'd be running around screaming corruption and bias #AFL
