@BNightengale Boston needs a 3B and Bichette isn’t cut out for that. Eugenio Suarez is a better target for the Red Sox. Bichette is a perfect fit for the Phillies.

My confidence in the #Phillies signing Bo Bichette has dropped over the past 24 hours.
I would expect Boston to offer a similar contract to Bichette. It will come down to how much of a factor Don Mattingly plays and whether Philadelphia can offer more years to lower the AAV.

I don’t really care about Harper and Schwarber hitting back-to-back because they both do so well against lefties and righties.
The bigger concern I have is Marsh and Stott back-to-back. But if you’re running Marchan out there, I don’t see how you can split those two in the lineup.

I love J.T. Realmuto. He is, unequivocally, the best catcher in Phillies history. But the physical decline is clear. Signing him to a short-term deal is just kicking the long-term catching can down the road. Reinvesting his $ into a young, productive player would be ideal.
