@CarlosACollazo Yet it’s not if the alternative is no high school players drafted. MLB wants them out or reduced. They aren’t going to back down.

This is obviously an unserious response -World Series winner -4 time top mvp (2nd in 2025) -All Star game mvp (4 time all star) -372 career HR -As it stands today borderline HOF (not there yet but it won’t take much) The Astros would have killed to take him #1 overall in 2014 with that career as opposed to Brady Aiken

Scouting can be very humbling as well. I sat on Kyle Schwarber for a three game series at Long Beach State when he was at Indiana. I scouted a 0-15 weekend I think it was and threw a 50 on him. 4th-8th rd pick. Just a little light boys. A huge miss undeniably.

Nine homers. 60 seconds. That's how Illinois' Brady Cunningham won the High School Home Run Derby final: atmlb.com/4pDkCyJ

Well for me with prospects in dynasty is this…. Everyone is just a prospect until they prove themselves. Such reasoning is why you trade for a JRod. Proven player and you feel you have the prospect capital to do it. However, IMO, you don’t wipe out that many elite dudes for 1 guy who is one of the most frustrating players to own in fantasy. He disappears for weeks at a time. Also, because prospects are unproven, you want to be able to take as many shots at the bullseye as possible. We all know some will miss. And pitchers? 2 go down with TJ and that depth disappears over night. What if Sloan misses and Seth is Miz? Now as others posted if you are a JRod away from turning it around. Sure, fire away. Given the names of the prospects you own I’m gonna guess you are far away and have had some high picks for awhile. If that’s the case, stay the course.

@ProspectMetrics @EricCrossMLB I have Skubal and McLean at MLb level already and as my team stands right now I have Kade, Seth, Sloan in minors slots. And white and Snelling.

Just had a trade question asked to me in my discord and I thought this was a really interesting deal. 10 Team dynasty, Keep 25 MLB and 15 MiLB each season. Other minor pieces, but basically: A: Julio Rodriguez B: Sam Antonaci, Mike Sirota, Josue De Paula, Seth Hernandez

@RCS_Funck_24 @EricCrossMLB Yeah I mean maybe I back off a little from it being a severely unbalanced trade. But the team pulling 3 elite prospects plus a solid looking player in Antonacci is a huge win. Over value on Julio IMO

Carson Jasa (6'7 215) selected 3rd round by the #Cubs. Comes with significant reliever risk but has a wicked curve that opponents went 6-for-111 (.054) with 81 strikeouts against his curve in 2026. @Cubs #MLBDraft

The #FightinFish @Marlins selected Rintaro Sasaki today in rd 8. Sasaki going in the top 10 rounds allows him to receive a slot bonus which may keep him stateside. #MLBDraft

Rintaro Sasaki (Stanford 1B) crushing 115 mph bombs in to the seats at the @MLBDraft combine. Following his breakout sophomore season, Sasaki finds himself at a three-way crossroads leading up to the draft: Enter the MLB Draft: He is eligible & has drawn the interest of MLB franchises, participating in the MLB Draft Combine in Phoenix. Sign with the SoftBank Hawks (NPB): The Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks shockingly used a first-round pick on Sasaki in the 2025 NPB Draft, and hold his exclusive negotiation rights if he chooses to return to Japan. Return to Stanford: He still has collegiate eligibility remaining & could opt to finish out his degree.
