🚨Breaking: We have just received reports that Dylan Cole, a student at Chinhoyi University, has been abducted after being taken from a lecture. He is among the students who have been openly opposing the Constitution Amendment (No. 3) Bill.

Today, we are monitoring a consultation meeting hosted by Hon. @JoanaMamombe on the Constitution of Zimbabwe Amendment (No. 3) Bill. Public participation and transparency are essential to safeguarding constitutional rights and democratic accountability.

ALERT: Police have forced the cancellation of a 21 March 2026 consultation meeting organized by Hon R. Tsvangirai in Norton on Constitution Amendment No. 3, undermining residents’ right to participate in public affairs. Police should facilitate, not obstruct, public engagement.

🚨Breaking: Last night young Zimbabweans demonstrated to show their rejection of Constitution Amendment (No. 3) Bill. They view the bill as an attempt to hold onto power by the incumbent.

Breaking: Prof. Madhuku has filed a ConCourt application on behalf of war veterans to scrap Constitutional Amendment Bill No. 3. They intend to declare the process null and void and stop the President from signing the draft law. #Zimbabwe #Law

⚪️⚫️On Thursday, 19 February, a public town hall meeting intended to unpack the Constitution Amendment Bill (No. 3) was arbitrarily cancelled, despite having received police clearance. This reflects a denial of the people’s right to assembly during the amendment process.
