Catholics, any priest exercising a legitimate ministry can easily answer questions like: Into what are you incardinated? Who is your immediate superior? What ecclesiastical offices do you hold? These all have real, concrete answers, not ethereal situational appeals.

There's been a noticeable increase in Mass attendance since I got here 8 months ago. The first 5 months saw a 20% increase from day 1, the last 2 months bring that closer to 25%, maybe 30%. Today, all the Masses have been standing room only.

@Zo_bo_fo_sho Depends. If it's scheduled for 2 hours, then I'm mentally prepared for 2 and I'm fine. If it's scheduled for 1 and it goes for 2, it definitely feels taxing.

@ServusDeiVivi @FrHarrison I'd need more info for what you're looking for. If it's just a shared calendar, Google Calendar is free for Gmail accounts, iCloud Calendar is free for Apple Accounts. Both can be shared with other users so everyone's on the same page.

For the people that work at a Parish/Priests… What is a good event planning/scheduling software that you use? One of my jobs has a lot of events and appointments happening all the time and they need the ability to block off certain times and share a calendar.

@BackwardsFeet I jumped ship from Windows about 6 years ago. I like the fact that everything pretty much just works, and works well together.

@ProtoApostoli I have an archdiocese one, not specific to my Parish, but this would be super helpful. I'm paying through the teeth with adobe, and it seems like Goodstack has a promo for Adobe Acrobat Pro which I NEED and don't have, so this is awesome.

For my designer friends, do you have access to Microsoft Publisher? I have Microsoft 365 Copilot through my Archdiocese but the application doesn't appear in my list of apps and is being discontinued in October, and I REALLY need a copy of the application for work.

@ServusDeiVivi They work with countries all over. You just have to be a recognized 501c3 (or equivalent in your country).

@ProtoApostoli Yeah looks like it, but really good to know! I'm seeing Canva works with Canada, would Goodstack have the same requirements (be a non-profit in your country) or is that US based only since it works with so many companies?

@ServusDeiVivi You might need your pastor/supervisor to sign up for it, they might need the EIN and some other paperwork to prove they belong to the parish.
