6 CONFIRMED EF-1 TORNADOES: All of the surveys have concluded, and we have an official count of 6 tornadoes from the National Weather Service. All of these tornadoes have been rated as EF-1. The Ellsworth tornado was the longest-tracked, on the ground for 7.28 miles. The tornadoes in Virginia Run (2 S Perryopolis) and Jacobs Creek tracked for a little over 5 miles, with the other tornadoes around and/or under 1 mile. All of these tornadoes occurred in the afternoon on Saturday, June 6th. TORNADO #1: 2:38 PM 2 WSW Beallsville, PA (EF1: 95mph) TORNADO #2: 2:40 PM 1 SSE Ellsworth, PA (EF1: 110mph) TORNADO #3: 2:40 PM 1 E Centerville, PA (EF1: 95mph) TORNADO #4: 2:51 PM 2 ENE Brownsville, PA (EF1: 100mph) TORNADO #5: 2:58 PM Virginia Run, PA (EF1: 90mph) TORNADO #6: 3:00 PM Jacobs Creek, PA (EF1: 107mph) These localized areas of tornadoes occurred as low-level spin in the line of storms, allowing for these spin-up tornadoes over a small region. It is good to remain aware that tornadoes do occur in Pennsylvania, and although they are "lower" on the scale and sometimes short-lived, they can cause extensive damage to life and property. Make sure you are prepared for the remainder of the summer and take all warnings seriously. ⚠️🌪️ Stay tuned for updates!

A warm and humid airmass will be in place for the rest of the week. Spotty thunderstorms will be possible especially in the afternoon and evenings but will be difficult to pinpoint timing and location.
