If older people are continuously forced to work longer and longer by rises in the state pension age, what will the knock on effect be in terms of numbers of jobs available for younger people in the future?

@BlokeOnWheels Just what I said They could have left the pension age as it was ,before all the rises .Those then leaving school would have jobs to go to ,and ,guess what pay into the state,which then goes towards NHS, pensions and so on.They would be able to leave home as well

My oncologist told me today that there is nothing more they can do for me. He told me that I will become weaker until I pass from ovarian cancer. The chemo isn’t working and will be discontinued. I’m still processing today’s appointment.

@Furiosa24 No sadly he didn't make it.He was only 22,from diagnosis until he passed literally a year.He was my 1st Grandson,born at only 24 weeks gestation,fought so hard then and he fought hard at the end,but it wasn't to be.The family are broken.Life is precious.

Quite often we aren’t ‘poorly in the traditional sense’ when diagnosed with cancer. But become extremely poorly during treatment because chemo is not targeted therapy, it attacks every molecule of the body with an extremely toxic poison. Here’s me with cancer, before, looking gorgeous and healthy and after starting treatment, looking poorly and battered. I’m all good now. This was six years ago. My post is in relation to claims being made by the squads that Pippa Middleton said her sister wasn’t ’poorly in the traditional sense’.

I don't think I ever seen so many Silver-wash fritillaries before, and I was only able to walk a small area of the superb Garston Wood. I counted roughly 80 +, can't imagine how many more there were in the rest of the wood.

@2StefanMoore Although Devin was older at the age of 21, we will never forget the conversation with the doctor… As we finished up one course of chemo, we didn’t realize we were out of options. When asked, he said “one option is hospice care“. Devin looked at us, devastated. We had failed him.

These are the words that destroy you as a Parent. 💔 “Ashley’s cancer is untreatable, please move her to hospice care & make her final preparations.” Ashley was the most cheerful, loving Daughter who had to endure more than any Child should ever face. Ashley left Earth about 4 months after this video was taken at only 13 years old. We would be so grateful for a follow to keep our Ashley’s story alive & being able to be a voice for our #ChildhoodCancer Warriors going through the unimaginable.

@janepursey We have 1 in the garden and 1 at our allotment. I was always told Robins are the souls of our dearly departed. So our Robins are called Ben after my dear Grandson. Just love Robins ,such dear little birds.

A few wks ago this robin started to turn up wherever I was in the garden, I open the back door she appears, talking to somebody outside she turned up & stood nr me, I’ve just walked into the utility room & she was there with grubs she wanted to show me, she’s out on the wall now
