If you’ve been wondering about the logo, I’ll explain. What is the ‘fifth Auxiliary’? It is the embodiment of the “Fifth Auxiliary Right”, as described Sir William Blackstone. “The natural right of resistance and self-preservation, when the sanctions of society and laws are found insufficient to restrain the violence of oppression.” This right, described by Blackstone, is the progenitor of the Second Amendment. The aim is to build a culture of warriors and philosophers, so posterity will inherit these traits. The ‘fifth Auxiliary’ is the mechanism to uphold and defend them. You are the fifth auxiliary.

There was a time when the sacred and the everyday were not separate things. For our ancestors the world itself was alive with meaning. Mountains, rivers, forests, and storms were not merely natural phenomena. They were expressions of deeper forces that humans lived among and interacte with. Reality was experienced as a network of relationships rather than a collection of isolated lifeless objects. Exclusively profane existence leaves people sick, hollow, and unfulfilled. Meanwhile, the subconscious searches for something deeper. It chases a sacred reality that, at some level, most of us know exists. If I attempt to explain this sacred reality entirely in profane terms, you will miss the deeper understanding that sacred language can convey. Have you ever tried to explain a dream to someone? While you are dreaming, or immediately after waking, there is an intuitive understanding of what is happening. Yet the moment you translate the dream into ordinary language, something essential is lost. For this same reason sacred truths are often expressed through allegory and symbolic language. Symbolism allows meaning to take root deep within the subconscious, where it can be understood from the inside out. When sacred meaning is forced entirely through the rational mind, much of that deeper understanding is lost. In this way the ancient myths are often closer to reality than the lifeless explanations of existence we are expected to accept today. But not every modern attempt to reclaim the sacred moves us in the right direction. Many contemporary spiritual teachings turn symbolic language inward, encouraging people to retreat from the world rather than reengage with it. These teachings claim that reality is ultimately one, that the apparent separation between self and world is an illusion. According to this view, true peace comes from turning inward, letting go of attachments, and dissolving the sense of an individual “self” into a universal oneness. At first this sounds comforting, even profound. But the logic collapses under its own weight. You cannot truly understand the connection between all things by withdrawing from them. Detachment removes the very relationships through which meaning and obligation arise. The method undermines the goal. Without a way to bring this supposed insight back into relationships, duties, and the struggles of the world, the peace it promises remains private. It becomes a form of escape rather than a solution. Attempts to resolve this contradiction usually produce endless philosophical loops. One explanation negates something, the next negates the negation, and so on without end. Calling the system “non dual” does not break the circle. It only gives the circle a name. The calm and strength people sometimes experience through these practices are real but do not come from dissolving and withdrawing into oneness. They come from something older and far more grounded in fundamental and sacred reality…

@RonnieAdkins There is no right to life without the ability to defend in the best possible manner. If someone hands the responsibility to defend themselves and their loved ones over to the government, they are also handing over their right to life.

Likewise, a people choosing to offload their liberty to a Government in the hopes of security guaranteed by the collective is just as much of a threat to individual freedom as a Government that takes advantage of it. My immediate security is not guaranteed by the hope that my neighbor shares the same values. It’s guaranteed by me. If I fail in my immediate security, it’s on me, not my Government or my neighbor.

A Government moving to deepen its monopoly on violence and power over the people should be one of the most non-partisan things we care about. There is not a time where a Government should feel physically secure in its power. It should only be in power because we put it there.

Oðr is peak human experience. Most people experience it inadvertently when they find themselves in flow state, engaged in a task. But this state can be induced through deep meditation. When achieved through intentional meditation it is quite profound. Psychedelic even. Hierophany.
